Used 2022 Volvo XC60 Consumer Reviews
First car I've ever regretted purchasing
Not really sure where to begin. Check engine light came on within the first week. Apparently a software issue. Infotainment feels completely unfinished. Don't let the 'Google OS' name fool you, there is NO Apple CarPlay OR AndroidAuto. When not using maps, the gauge cluster is a massive black hole with virtually no info other than speed. No temp, tire pressure, etc. 360 camera is extremely slow and doesn't always work correctly. Sometimes I'll tap on the front camera to come up and it will take 15 seconds or so. Also, the front two-hook cover fell off while I was on the highway. Nothing like paying $60k for a car that has pieces falling off. Worst of all, the screens (both infotainment and dash) will randomly crash. Luckily they reboot quickly, but who on earth likes to drive without knowing how fast they are going?! Extremely dangerous, especially from a car brand built on safety. Volvo messed up big time releasing this well before it was ready. If Over-The-Air updates don't fix these software issues by the end of 2022, I'll be trading this in for another brand.

Great Car but the Infotainment System is terrible
I'll echo the other reviews. The lack of Apple CarPlay and sirius xm, to me, seems like an egregious oversight. You could probably find vehicle with similar performance and safety features with a much better infotainment system. I've called Volvo customer service and they've said both Apple CarPlay and Sirius XM will come out but have no idea when. Very disappointing. My advice would be look at competitors before buying any of the 2022 XC models.

SO SORRY
The infotainment center in this car is a literal nightmare. The entire electric system tied to this system is such a nightmare. I took my new car back the very next day. Unable to function with it. I spent hours over the next few days going back to the sales team to fix the issues, to no avail...I then took it into the service department three times and am suppose to pick it up today two full months later and after nearly a month in service. The Infotainment center was replaced twice...a module in the antenna system was also replaced as they attempted to repair the issues. The customer service of Volvo in San Fransisco was impossible at best and the service manager sent me an email telling me that when I had a "LEGITIMATE" problem to come back. I am so sad that I believed Volvo was a good car with a good reputation...my mistake!

EVEN IF YOU DIE ON A HWY, THEY WONT HELP
2 month old, brand new Volvo xc60 2022 model. On the first weekend trip, the engine heated up suddenly and could get weird burning smell from bonnet. Had to stop the car to allow time to cool down. Yesterday, on our way from Toronto to Montreal, broke down in the middle of the highway with no prior indication, i.e. a sudden msg on the dashboard "12V battery critical fault, stop safely" + "turtle sign", "deteriorated performance". Somehow maneuvered the car onto the side of the highway and then the nightmare began. NOTE: This was at 7.40pm EST, nearing sunset. My husband is driving and I am 6 months pregnant. We are stranded in a lonely stretch on Hwy 401E, past Port Hope. 1. Called Dealership: They advised switch off and restart as it may a simple software glitch. Should be safe to continue driving - Tried that but the car won't move anymore. 2. Called "ON CALL" - They said they cannot scan our car software remotely. Will only tow to the nearest Volvo showroom i.e. at Lakebridge (which is still ~90+ km from Toronto) as per policy. By this time it was 8pm. All showrooms were closed. We repeatedly asked them to allow us a tow back into Toronto (since we had already driven 100km out of the city) as the showroom was closed, there are no hotels nearby and all repair shops will be closed for the long weekend. Plus it was nearing nightfall and I being pregnant, it's a very risky situation at night. They showed no compassion and coldly said, that's all we can offer, and you can take an UBER back to wherever your home is - Just a reminder that our home was >100km away from breakdown point. And moreover, how our car is towed from that local dealership to Toronto garage is "none of their business". We helplessly agreed. After almost 20 mins of wait, I got a text msg with link to track the tow truck. It showed the location at AJAX. Just to confirm that it's the location of the tow truck that is coming to help us, I called the number. They informed that they were under the impression that we were at AJAX, and they were yet to start, it will take another 1.5 hours. Called back ON-CALL. Reconfirmed location with the nearest exits that was Wesleyville outlet from 401E. The fools on the other side kept asking for a landmark which is basically few trees and shrubs and heavy trucks racing past. Remember it's beyond 8.30pm now. Another 10-15 min later the tow company SSR TOWING called back to ask if we were at some cottage at Port Hope. By this time, we were in despair, and literally don't know what to do - I once again tried to re-explain our location (for the 1000th time) and then came the LAST BLOW !!! - The tow truck (which is yet to start to come and pick us) can seat only 1 of us. The other person can follow in Uber. I pleaded them to provide another truck explaining my situation - No reaction, just a cold REFUSAL. Husband called back ON-CALL to cancel the tow: They indifferently agreed with a "SORRY FOR INCONVENIENCE" response. We call 911. With God's grace, a truck from CAA Certified BROWN TOWING company arrived hastily in 15min, and towed all of us back to our home, Toronto North York within 1 hour. They guy was efficient, compassionate (asked if I needed a restroom and something to eat). Great service and reasonable price. I need to know where VOLVO stands in terms of its MORAL GROUNDS when it comes to customer service, apart from it's pathetic car performance.

Stay Far Away
In first week, had a tire that slowly was leaking air and needed to be replaced. Manufacturer couldn't provide the tire so had to get new tires for back. Gas pedal compresses air first and was told this was from the car 'learning my driving habits'. In first year, I've had the car at the shop 6 times - a rattle from the top of the car, primarily happens when its cold and worst of all the infotainment system/electrical system controls everything and that's been spotty and has died, leaving the car not to turn on, the system to drive but no heat/ac/radio/etc. Software updates are OFTEN and every time, its a problem and some you have to take your car to the dealership to do. 1st time Volvo owner and love how the car drives when it works. Not impressed with the faulty technology. Very worried about what is to come, no matter how long the warranty. Car doesn't even have 6k miles on it.
