Used 1995 Volvo 940 Consumer Reviews
Loved it, and Miss it
I find out now that my first Volvo was such a rare find. It was a wonderful car, and I got many compliments even though it was "old". Unfortunately, it was totalled in a wreck. The driver had only minor injuries. I now know I probably won't be able to find this model again, and feel privileged to have owned it.
nice little commuter
I picked up my 1995 Volvo in jan of 08 it had 71,000 miles which is soooo low for a Volvo it now has 78,000 its a great car comfy looks classy
Well Equipped...and more.
Just picked up this ride and must say it drives and rides better than my 2001 Benz...and one heck of a lot cheaper to drive. I highly recommend this vehicle, but caution that if you're considering one, make sure it has all the trim pieces if that's important to you. I just spend $125 on two pieces of front window molding. Bottom line, parts aren't cheap, but hopefully the reliability will make up for it.
reliable, safe, cheap ride for a student
i have a volvo, yes im a poor college student looking for safety, reliability and, above all, a cheap ride. i bought the car off repo, and suffered a new rediator, broken antenna motor, oil leak, the vinyl was melted and warped from sun and heat, and 2 new tires in 2 years and at 149,000 miles.- not too bad for what i paid- . i do however, feel theres something lacking in the acceleration. the 0-60 speed is 12 seconds on a good day, slightly downhill. my girlfreind also has a 95 volvo 940 with an oil leak and shifter problem at 195000 problems- but owned it though every mile. her acceleration sucks too.
My 940 volvo is super still
This volvo has been a dream car. i have 130,000 miles on it and it runs like new. i would gladly buy one just like it brand new to replace my other car if they made them this way again
