Used 1995 Volvo 940 Consumer Reviews
volvos rule
if you really want a good car that is not going to let you down, i would definately drive a volvo. i drive a 1994 volvo 940, and it has never died while driving, or done anything crazy. though volvos can be expensive now, they're not going to gost you later on.
1994 Volvo 940 Wagon
Great car. Has 225+ thousands miles and runs like new. Massive cargo space with the rear seats down. Has tons of nice features.
Solid car
I bought the car w/150K. It's got 170 now and it runs great! Performance is nothing to brag about w/o the turbo, but the car makes up for it in reliability and build quality.
Over 300,000
I purchased my 1995 940 with 80,000 miles and now eight years later have over 300,000 miles on it. All I can say is excellent. It's only left me stranded twice and still has the original engine, transmission, turbo, alternator, starter, fuel pump, and more. I love this car but after all those miles it has developed several oil leaks (one major) and several small problems that just are not cost effective to fix requiring me to sell it. I have no complaints driving it 220,000 miles of 300,000 is more than I could ever had hoped for. I am very sad to have to give it up but also have high expectations for my new used 1998 V70 XC. Thank you Volvo
Loved it, and Miss it
I find out now that my first Volvo was such a rare find. It was a wonderful car, and I got many compliments even though it was "old". Unfortunately, it was totalled in a wreck. The driver had only minor injuries. I now know I probably won't be able to find this model again, and feel privileged to have owned it.
