Used 1995 Volvo 940 Consumer Reviews
goes forever
Bought it new and maintain it according to the recommended service. It has been a great car for two kids and two to three dogs. The reliability has been excellent, though services can be expensive. Easy to do simple repairs yourselve. Relatively fun to drive with adequate acceleration, especially after the turbo kicks in. Great loading up stuff at the hardware store and vacations.
Simply the Best!
Great vehicle, lots of room for shopping, flea markets, comfy for passengers, exterior paint - perfect. The a/c just died and the parts alone are $1,000.00 labor probably $500 plus. Not sure if I'm going to fix it.
Amazing, the 940T is good at so many things, that
Volvo could go throughout the car, do some limited u;dates, and keep the computer crap los, and start selling them again! My old Volvo 1986, 245 station wagon, collided with a Crown Vic. Both cars were traveling 60 mph and my (wife) walked-away the crash, and ended-up rendering help to a young man Stuck Behind the Wheel of his Crown Vic. He lost an eye and more. And my wife only suffered a broken ankle muscular pains for a week or less. Wow, what a car! The Volvo 940 TURBO is a blast to drive, I'll drive it until parts are no longer found, and then some. Thanks, Volvo for building the 240, 740, 940, 960s.

Still Going strong
My 940 standard wagon has 178,000 mile on it now and it runs better than when I first drove it home. This has been my third Volvo (240,740 Turbo) with a 5 year period in between. I don't know why I every switched. I will never buy another vehicle. My luck ahs been to good.
volvos rule
if you really want a good car that is not going to let you down, i would definately drive a volvo. i drive a 1994 volvo 940, and it has never died while driving, or done anything crazy. though volvos can be expensive now, they're not going to gost you later on.
