2025 Volkswagen Jetta Consumer Reviews

Exceeded Expectations!
I ended up getting a 2024 VW Jetta SE and could not be happier. It is a great car to drive. Very smooth, has good pick up, and an overall perfect ride. The standard features on the SE compared to other cars, like the Honda Civic Sport, are much better in my opinion. It has a stylish, yet modest look. For the price point and class of the vehicle, it is very fun to drive. Bonus points as well for it being quieter than other cars in its class. With the incredible fuel economy and standard tech features, I really believe the SE is the best compact sedan on the market. Love my Jetta!

More than expected!
I primarily bought the Jetta for price but have been surprised by how solid the car feels. Fuel economy is great 37 mpg so far. Handles nicely and is comfortable. Highly recommend.

VW Jetta, Lots of Car In A Small Package
There is virtually no road noise when driving, the gas mileage is great (I am getting over 600 miles to a tank of gas and the car doesn't even have 2000 miles on it yet). It looks like it spent last night on the showroom floor! The feel of driving and riding as a passenger is solid and handling is a dream. For a small car, it's a got great big personality!

GREAT VALUE- SAVE THOUSANDS OVER HONDA
Let me preface that I have owned many vehicles with many different domestic and foreign manufacturers and I find the Jetta a good value. VW hasn't had the best historical quality ranking reviews online, however their better than industry warranty for 2019. It's the only car that the more I drive it, the better the gas mileage I get... over 40-45 mph... a great 1st car for my son. We purchased him in 2019 a new R line. He still drives it with no manufacturer issues other than a chip needing to be replaced. I can say we are satisfied 6 years later & we bought a new 2024 SE for my second son. I offered to swap the 2024 for the 2019 with my first son so he could have the newer car, and he declined. He loves his 2019. So now we have 2 in the family and I'll most likely purchase a 3rd for myself later in the year. Love the sunroof and pleather seats are easy to clean. Local dealer service has been great. Includes 2 years service free of charge. Wish the lower trims had heated steering wheel and rear seats. A little more pep would be nice but it's a give and take, and I prefer the better gas mileage. Having owned a Toyota, Honda, Ford, Chevy, GMC, BMW, etc., in my opinion I don't think this car is lesser a value that other brands and I don't think it's worth paying $2-3000 more to buy a Toyota or Honda. I've never had the experience where I got more money for a trade because it was a Honda or Toyota. The way I see it, if later down the line I have to spend $2-3000 on a repair, I'll call it even, and if I don't, great! I'm ahead. Plus they've been making this body style for a while so the kinks should be worked out. Just my two cents.

Suspiciously good mpg
I love this car. Can get it up to 50mpg on the highway with the ac running. The lane keeping assist and acc are handy on long highway trips. The XDS from the gti is fun on the sport. The interior is clean, sharp, driver focused and you can get it with a manual! My few dislikes are no auto ac, and the suspension is a bit rough off-road.
