Dealer Review:
If I could give Southern California Preowned negative 5 stars I would. Will never recommend nor will I ever buy a car from this place, we had a horrendous experience with them. Very distrusting dealership, uses bait and switch tactics, advertisement says no hidden dealer fees so they add those fees to the cost of the vehicle as accessories, but they won’t tell you or give you an itemized list of what those accessories are. If you still decide to buy from them after reading our story, be very wary and make sure you really look at what they are charging you for. Believe me there are better places to buy a used car from. These guys seriously give used car dealers a very bad reputation. My son and I found a listing on CarGurus for 2017 Honda Civic, 88,385 miles, $14,950. Contacted dealer on Sunday to make sure the vehicle was there so we could come and see it. Called them again on Feb. 14th, to let them know we were coming. We were greeted by Ronaldo who went to pull the car out so we could test drive. Car looked good and drove well. We talked about the price, tried to see if they would come down a little in the price. Ronaldo explained that the price was $14,950 and that it was a great deal because it was a couple thousand below market price. We explained that my son was getting the loan through our credit union and he just needed the co-signer to sign paperwork, but we would be back the next day. Next day we found out from credit union that we needed a purchase order from the dealer since my son had a down payment, so my son went back with the co-signer to get the purchase order from the dealership. They called before to let the dealer know they were coming and what they needed. When they got there Ronaldo was nowhere to be seen and Carlo proceeded to step in. Carlo ran a credit check for no reason on the co-signer, even though they had already explained before, that they only needed a purchase order. He then brought them a piece of paper that had the payment amounts and how many payments there would be. Carlo was trying to finance the car with whatever bank they work with. They explained again that the loan was already approved with our credit union and there was no need for a credit check and that all they needed was a purchase order for our credit union. When Carlo finally brought out the purchase order they had added $3,000 to the price of the vehicle for added accessories. When questioned about what these accessories were, Carlo kept switching the subject and ignoring my son and his co-signer. He basically did this with every question they asked. He finally admitted that this $3,000 included what they paid to have the car delivered to their lot from where ever they purchased the vehicle. We said that we were not paying the extra $3,000 for delivery/accessories or whatever it was for, but that we were still willing to buy the vehicle if they would honor the price they advertised the vehicle for and that Ronaldo had said it would be, $14,950 plus tax, license and registration fees. Carlo kept saying that they couldn’t, he kept checking with the mystery person behind closed doors, and he just kept saying they could not do that. After much going back and forth, and realizing they were not going to honor their original price, my son and his co-signer walked away. Ronaldo called the next day surprised that we didn’t buy the car, my son explained what happened. He said he would see what he could do and call my son back, to this day we have not heard a peep from them.

Dealer Review:
Horrible horrible. My son purchase a vehicle on June 24, 2022. He was leaving from college and the entire ABS system went out, luckily he was smart to through the emergency brake on . He could of hurt himself or someone else on the road. We took the car to Infiniti and they sat aged the entire ABS system was modified (this was not disclosed to us). My son purchased an extended warranty as well which is null and void because of the modifications. The dealership says it’s $12,000 to fix. We just purchased this vehicle for 26k and shift says oh well. No help out all. My son is paying a car that is sitting there and no help. Please don’t go.

Dealer Review:
I was extremely interested in the vehicle listed and made a reasonable offer (that was accepted after a couple days of waiting). I said I was prepared to fly out as soon as they got me the basic info (the warranty information and either a full video or photos). At the time they only had a “coming soon” picture on the site and no warranty information. From the start, I let them know that I only had the weekend to get this done. I’m a single parent and my dad is in hospice. I’m taking care of him and trying to run a business. On several occasions the sales person said he’d “call me right back” then I would wait hours. Most the time it would happen the next day. There was no rush at all despite my request to “please just let me know if they could do the deal or not so that I could fly out there right away.” Several times the sales person wanted me to give a deposit and fill out a credit application. That was his priority rather than just answering the question about the warranty and sending the video. They wanted the money but they did not want to do the BASIC things NEEDED for a person to feel comfortable making a purchase. When I finally got the video, it was only of the lower part of the car. It was basically from just above the tire level down and then a quick picture of the front seats. When I tried to close the deal Sunday morning and get an answer on the offer as well as provide another request for the warranty information and the full video, Jake told me he’d “call me right back”. of course, I never got a call back that day. Keep in mind that I need it to fly out there immediately. I got a call on Monday. Ten, I moved three meetings and told him that I could come on Wednesday, if everything was ready by Tuesday. Jake told me he could process my credit application Tuesday night and knew I could not get it to him until the late afternoon. I did not hear from him Tuesday night. These are not difficult things to produce. The car was on the lot. On Tuesday, the sales person walked into someone’s office (while I was on the phone) to ask the question about the warranty and they were able to answer it on the spot. Why that took five days, I’ll never know. Wednesday morning I had to call the whole thing off because I did not have the flight scheduled as I did not have the credit application processed as Jake said I would Tuesday night. I have a credit score of 800+. None of this should’ve been hard. An entry-level sales person would’ve done a much better job. In the end, I even tried to make it work by getting estimates from 15 different car shipping companies. However, I really did prefer to test drive the car before I paid $52,000 for it. The car is still for sale! I’ve never had to work this hard to give someone $52,000. I called the dealership and waited on hold to talk to the manager, Jaime, for about 5 minutes and then was disconnected. I called again and left a voicemail on his direct line and did not receive a call back.
