2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer
So I purchased this SUV on June 13th 2022 (all black) so I've had it a little over three months and I must say that I do absolutely love it. We shall see if this vehicle will stand the test of time as I was a little leery of purchasing another Chevy after my 2016 Equinox all of the sudden had timing belt and transmission issues. When at the dealership I was asked if I wanted another … Equinox I said I wanted something different and since I was getting a brand new car I wanted to get my monies worth. Well so far the Trailblazer has been money well spent. I drive a lot (5,877mi already) and where I live there are a lot of back roads as well we use the highways to get around and I have not been disappointed with the handling. I am able to merge without having any issues and I know when I see test drives and read reviews everyone says that because of the 3cyl engine it merges slow and may not do well with long distance driving. To that I say so far so good I have spent a lot of time in my Trailblazer traveling back to my home state to visit my family and I have had no issues passing or keeping up with traffic. The seating has been very comfortable for long-distance driving but I will agree that the braking is so sensitive that you really have to be mindful that it will take some getting use too. One thing that surprised me is it seems to get better gas mileage in AWD. So my experience with my Trailblazer has been good so far as well as the roomy cabin for when I have passengers; people have remarked how spacious it is sitting in the back. Oh I forgot to mention one other thing I don't like is the cargo shade well if you can call it that. It is just a single piece that slides in meaning that it is not retractable; it is just a thin cloth like cover that is just there. I mean it dose the job of concealment but in a very generic toy-like way.
