I worked with Ron Smith, who specifically told me several times that he had an "approval" for me. I had been very clear with him that I had some credit challenges, and did not wish to waste my time, or theirs, by coming to the dealership only to be turned down. I had sent him all my info via text/email/phone, including what I could put down in cash. He kept saying, "come in and I'll go over the approval with you".
