Used 2023 Toyota Venza Consumer Reviews
Malfunctioning navigation/multi-media system fixed
Update: The multi-media/nav system was replaced and there have been no further issues and we also received our second key fob. Having driven for 10 months now, we’re very happy with the vehicle. A few observations: We feel that the multi-media system is not real user friendly and we’re still learning all facets of it, some which are confusing, and some which we still can’t figure out! A bit disappointed in the gas mileage, which started at 35 and is now up to 37 mph, hopefully it will continue to rise. We also expected that mirror settings would be included in the different driver settings at this price level. But overall, we’re happy with our purchase and are surprised the model is being discontinued. We wanted to replace our hybrid Avalon with an SUV and decided to remain with Toyota as we had no problems with our Avalon, or Toyota. Purchased the Venza in August. Two months later, all facets of the multi-media system stopped working. Nothing functions correctly. Screen goes black every few minutes, then restarts. Dealer tried a hard restart, didn’t work, then said they had to order something, which is on back order with Toyota. Still waiting with no idea when we will have what should be a fully functioning brand new vehicle. Reluctant to take road trips in this condition. Extremely disappointed and upset with Toyota, this is unacceptable for a brand new vehicle, especially as it was made in Japan. That said, it’s very comfortable and quiet, and if we had the second key FOB, and a fully functional multi-media system, we’d be very happy with the vehicle, and Toyota.

Heat system issue
I have had Toyota cars for years and never been more satisfied. What is the problem with the heat? When I am in neutral the heat blows cold air even set on high 85. I am dissatisfied with this feature. It is unsafe in New England to not be able to depend on heat. Just learned when car is stationary 10 minutes heat turns offGREAT CAR

Better than advertised
Averaging 40mpg which is a nice change from my previous 22mpg Murano. The Venza drives smooth and handles well without the normal hybrid brakes. After 1 year and 40k work miles still getting 40mpg, smooth and quiet ride. I didn't know the tire replacement was $300 per tire but everything else is great. 2.5 years 55k miles trading in for another Toyota Hybrid, but this time a Grand Highlander. The Venza was great still averaging 37.5 mpg but I need a bigger vehicle for carrying

My venza is perfect match for me, good storage and spare tire is a plus, great gas mileage, easy to get in and out, seats comfortable, peppy when need to be, quiet ride, classic modern interior styling. Oh---the logo name venza shines on ground at nighttime when opening the door, mileage display on driver front window view is awesome, WOW! Glad venza is back, thanks Koons Toyota Annapolis Md. 2023 Venza LTD
Like a lot about this car with two exceptions. Multimedia screen set up and operation is very cumbersome. The navigation system is free temporarily. Then it’s a monthly charge. Not cool
