Great Truck
I just purchased the 2wd V6 double cab with TRD. I must say this truck is awesome. I have done extensive research on this truck before buying. I looked at all the other competitors and the Toyato is the best hands down. Unfortunately I have heard a few horror stoies about Leaks around the dash and passenger door. Hopefully I won't have those problems
Humpty Dumpty...
I bought this truck for my wife.Well, 6 months later she hit a big rutt in the road and before she knew it she was flying off into a ditch. The front wheels got their traction back as she turned the wheels back to the right and she started rolling. All told my wife rolled it 1 and 3/4 times ending up on the passenger side of the truck.

Still Going Strong
Bought new, 91,000 miles now, just put new front drakes pads, that's it for repairs. The tires lasted 60,000 miles. About 20 MPG highway or city. Not great but OK. Runs and drives very good.
Blown Engine but still like it
I have owned this truck since it was new. 4 cylinder, full 4-door model. The fuel economy sits around 19mpg highway fairly consistently. For the first 53k miles I abused the heck out of this truck. It is a gutless 4banger so I would push it to just over 100mph by pushing the OD/off on the shifter to drop a gear in order to get over 100. This was nearly every day for my commute because I literally am always running late. The minimum was 90mph (toll road 17 miles to work). Under the powertrain warranty I carved out cylinders 1 and 3, so I was given a new short-block and new lease on life. Ever since, I don't even let this thing slip into overdrive and baby her. Solid taco
2.4 L not strong , mpg is only around 24 hwy/21 combined. cab is small/tight. overall durable, dependable & you can't really ever go wrong with a yota.
