Get a 2017 model as it's no longer sold in the US
We chose a 2013 PriusV over the Ford C-max. Purchased in March of 2014 and have taken two trips to northern Minn and four to Fla. Very comfortable to drive, climate control works well. Great dealer experience so far. It does ride a little stiff and as our first hybrid it has taken some getting use to but have no compliants about freeway driving, just plan ahead. We are still very happy with it for in town and road trips. So far only had to do the scheduled maintenance. I would certainly purchase another one. We are still very happy with our Prius V. Mileage has been as advertised and have only had to do the scheduled maintenance. Dealership trying to sell brake fluid flush due to H2O but purchased a brake fluid tester and it shows <1% H2O so no need to change. As I said, I'd purchase another one. Only had to have oil changes and tire rotation. I would purchase another one however I WAS SADDEN TO LEARN THAT TOYOTA IS NO LONGER SELLING THE PRIUS V IN THE US. Still feel the same, a good car, easy to drive, good gas mileage. Still only had to do scheduled maintenance and will be replacing tires.

I bought it with 19 k miles at 50% original price 3 years old very comfortable a great sest plenty of space i get about 45 miles per gallon on a daily commute the adaptive cruise control rocks especially in the stop and go traffic lights are great the panoramic roof storage. Will fit my surf board right in it and it is a big one too the dealer was really nice and took a good care of me love it and hoping to get a great use out of it

prius V level five
Really good car have 10600 on it so far had first oil change my mg for far 39 in average.
first hybrid
bought this used, <7k in January. it a big improvment over my 08 Mazda 5. The rear room is the same, but the mpg is 2x of Mazda 5! i have hubby, a toddler and 2 mutts. all of us fit just fine. Hubby loves it. it has planty of room for him (6'2") the entune sys is good. i just wish it would remember the settings so that i don't have to press a dozen buttons just to get pandora to play. i avg out 42.4mpg (fuelly) my computer tells me its almost XX, but its alway -3 of what the computer says. not sure why. love the low maintenence vs Jetta's. just tire rotation and oil change. i'll be keeping this one for over 5 yrs for sure!
why sell my great prius V?
I am looking for 4wd, winter hardy, higher seating. Nothing wrong with the Prius except it is a lighter weight vehicle, with only front wheel drive. Unfortunately, I would have to trade in to a market now strong in SUV's, and with gas prices dropping, not so good for gas-efficient cars. I am still happy with the Prius V, 40 mpg, reliable, roomy. I don't have to change, so I won't.
