Mid engine rear wheel drive. Fun to drive. Comfortable. A bit hard to get in and out of. Great seating and driving position. Perfect reach for controls. Great on gas if not under boost. A bit bumpy of a ride but is a genuine sports car. Reliable. Easy up keep and some what inexpensive for being a rear wheel drive car. Not recommended in the snow. Coolant hose will fail at around 100k. It's about 10 bucks but the turbo must be removed so that will cost you around 500 buck. Outside of that it's a great little sports car with great value and reliability. Hold it's value. Watch out for rust and stay away from modded or abused examples. Hard driving May damage syncros in transmission. Great car!

This car is FUN to DRIVE. I once owned a 1985 MK1 N/A and I loved it. Put 100,000 miles on it, only work done was front brakes, timing belt and oil changes. Unfortunately, some women crashed into me and the car was totaled. Recently I have acquired a 1991 MR2 MK2 Turbo and I love it. These cars are just about driving pleasure. Don't know what else to say.

I've only had this car for less than a month but I absolutely Love it already. It's blue with blue interior. The body is in perfect shape and also completely Stock! The car gets up and goes with no problem what so ever. It gets a lot of looks and people awe to it. All I have to say is if you ever get the chance to get one, get it.

so i bought my 1st mr2 turbo. 122k miles mint. love it. tight interior, but after awhile you forget about it. interior design is good. seats are comfy. driving position good. really no blind sides. handles great. very quick. sips fuel aslong as your not under boost. much more raw driving experience but not over bearing. not as smooth as the vw corrado but an approach all its own. car sit low so getting in and out is abit of a pain but a true car guy or gal would not mind. very happy with my purchase. UPDATE! Still fabulous to drive and own. Can't see myself selling it. I always look forward to driving it. So far besides oil, transmission cables needed adjustment....86 bucks. Starter went. Easy to do it yourself but I had a mechanic do it. With new air filter, synthetic oil change and starter with labor....490. That's it! All this in three to four years of owning it. Looking forward to buying a second one one day. Update: changed the gear fluid to redline lightweight synthetic high impact. Makes a big difference. Needs a few repairs that are common with these cars. Needs reinforcing plates on the front chassis part where the front sway bars connect. Apparently this is a common issue. Have to repack the axles with grease. The car runs great! Have a ac leak somewhere. Will take care of that in the winter months. Paint is fading but comes up with some buffing. Will repaint in the future. Still a fabulous car! Like with all old cars it's all about maintenence.

Before I sold my 300zx I needed to look for something else. Seems I found that the MR2 offered a hard to beat list of Positive features. I drove this car for the first time and lemme tell u that the HP pulls hard yet surpassingly the MR2 is great on fuel. Its design feature is what mainly sold me. That exotic lotus design sure turns heads. It has its downsides but surely.... The good outweighs the bad by far. Best advice I can give is take the car for a test drive and ull know what I mean.
