Nice car very expensive fuel

Mirai is an excellent ride. Has problems with shock absorbers-they squeak at every bump on the road. Asked dealer service department to fix but their fix was temporary-the problem returned. By far the greatest issue is the very expensive price of the car, this dealership charged me for it, the immediate and almost total collapse of the market price of the car and the super expensive fuel price! This makes for a very bad experience altogether. I do not recommend this car because of these reasons.

The most tech advanced car I have owned, backed by Toyita quality, on a Lexus platform.

Less Than 280 Miles

Preciousun, 10/14/2023

I was promised 350-400 miles a fill and ever since I bought the car (XLE 2023) I have not been able to get more than 280 miles. I do not drive fast and I have even used the neutral gear when going down hill but does not help much. The car itself it’s beautiful and super comfortable but not worth it if you don’t leave near a station (within 5 miles). Hydrogen stations are always down and it can take days before you can fill up. Very disappointed with this sale.

DO NOT GET THIS JUNK

Junk Car, 08/10/2021

this car is absolutely a junk! Sales person made it sound like a good bargain with the free fueling. But they gotta to have fuel first! I’m few months into getting this car and it turned out to be the biggest regret I ever made!! There are very few working stations, even fewer has hydrogen! And every time weather is over 90 degrees, all fueling stations shuts off. Hello…!! This is Southern California and it is over 90 degrees at least 5 months out of year!! This junk car now sites in my garage not able to run due to no fuel available! It’s really a headache every time you drive this car out because I have to worry if I can get fuel to get home! EVERY TIME!! I tried to return it to Toyota, but they won’t let me. So I’m looking into legal options because this is nothing like what I was told and this car is useless! So, please please DO NOT get this car! I will guarantee you will regret it!!

Toyota Mirai makes no sense - the worst choice!

Poor handling and acceleration. Also, Don't be fooled with $15,000 fuel card. Its worth nothing since there is no hydrogen! Toyota promised 312 miles of range and in reality you get only 200 miles with full fuel tank. Additionally, there is major issue with refueling the car. Sometimes, you can fill only half of tank because refueling issues that Toyota do not want to admit and they do not want you to know that when you are signing the lease. With 100 miles of range this car is unusable. You will be just paying for car that sits in your garage and collect the dust. Worst decision I'v ever made. Shame on Toyota!
