Great value for the money

2025 Toyota Camry LE 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

So far this has been a great car with a lot of technological upgrades. It is also a great value when you compare it competitors, especially if you factor in the fuel economy. The Prius, for example, is about the same price for a much smaller car with no better mpg. I will point out that the proximity sensors on the fenders and driver's door are only available on the XLE and XSE models, something not mentioned in Edmonds comparisons. Given the experience we have with our 2017 Prius, we assumed it was part of the standard safety suite, but it is not.

Best Hybrid I’ve owned yet

2025 Toyota Camry LE 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

This is my 5th hybrid and best by far. I’ve owned (All Hybrid) an Avalon, Lexus ES300H, a 2019 Accord hybrid and prior to the 2025 Camry I was I was in a 2023 Corolla Hybrid. I drive about 1300 miles per week and absolutely require good gas mileage. The 23 Corolla was giving me around 53 mpg average. Great car but just a bit small. I decided to upgrade to the Camry. I have just around 2000 miles and I’m averaging about 50-52 mpg per tank. I couldn’t ask for better than that. The car is plenty big and super fast. I like the standard extras in the LE such as the phone charging platform and the LED interior lights. The ride is smooth and handles bumps well and I do about of city driving. Now for some of the petty complaints….i wish the LE came with a leather wrapped steering wheel and the cloth on the seats were a bit softer. Aside from that, this car is by far the best bang for your buck. One more note to add, historically hybrids get better MPG in the summertime. Since I bought this car brand new the average temp has been 35 degrees and I’m still getting 50mpg.

Pleasantly surprised with the switch

2025 Toyota Camry SE 4dr Sedan AWD (2.5L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

I was a VERY loyal GM customer (9 vehicles in total), and ALWAYS had preferred SUVs/Trucks, but once the misses got a large family SUV, I decided to be an adult and “trade down” from my ‘21 Tahoe. But let me tell you, it’s no trade down. Sure, obviously there’s less space (no comparing a large SUV to a Camry), but between the technology, driver’s safety features, and overall comfort and affordability, I will absolutely never willingly get rid of this 2025 Camry SE. Being in the Midwest, I opted for the AWD model, so we’ll see how it handles in the snow. However, even though the EPA estimate is 46 mpg all around, i have been averaging just shy of 50 (49.8 to be exact) round trip for work, which is 25 miles each way; 75% highway and 25% city driving. Not to mention, my wallet feels much heavier since the money stays in my pocket more with this fuel economy. I was skeptical about a hybrid vehicle (I’m still not one to think EVs are great), but I’m incredibly impressed by the transition from the electric to combustion motor in the Camry. If you’re playing music, you’d never know. And if you don’t listen to music on your drives, the most you’ll realize during the transition from electric to gas is just the sound of the engine going again. If I could go back in time (and if this were available then), I would have bought this as my first car, kept it, and continued to buy this vehicle when replacement would be necessary.

This car is affordable and overall a very smooth ride. My only complaints are the need for a more comfortable drivers seat; a power passenger seat in the SE standard; stronger AC ; better brakes and higher seating position. Having said this I may consider buying the XSE for added features with more time behind the wheel.

Best Camry ever

This is our ninth Camry as we are satisfied Toyota customers for many years. In all those years I cannot remember even a single mechanical issue. And it is now in a class by itself with amazing technology, a beautiful exterior and interior build quality that rivals Lexus. Once you begin driving it you won’t want to stop. The combination of standard hybrid technology with a rated 46 mpg and on demand AWD along with 232 HP is truly now a driver’s car. Definitely a gold standard vehicle.
