Love Our New Camry!

2025 Toyota Camry LE 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

Hard to find anything we don't love: the look, handling, selection of features, ease of controls. One thing we'd like is front and side cameras/sensors without requiring the huge jump in price to XLE level.

Really impressed when I didn't think I would be...

I purchased the 2025 Camry LE with the convenience package and the weather package. It came with the all weather mats, and spoiler. I traded in my 2020 BMW X3 Xdrive 30i. It was loaded and handled really well. It had Navigation, Head's up display, Panoramic power sunroof, Harmon Karden surround sound, rain sensing wipers, parking assist, etc. I really enjoyed the car but approaching 47k miles we were worried about repairs and decided to jump back to Toyota. I've owned 7 Rav4's, including the Prime, a couple of Prius, and a Corolla many years ago. Other than the power window locks going out in a Prius, I have never had issues with any Toyota. With that said, going from a BMW to a Camry seemed to be a pretty big downgrade. However, I was really surprised, and very impressed by the new Camry. The MPG is phenomenal at 51-53. It handles really well considering the LE base doesn't have the sport suspension of the upgraded models. And it's very quiet in regards to road noise. When I talked to the Dealer, they low balled me a little on the BMW (about $400 les than Carmax offered), but they tossed in the extra packages (Convenience and Weather) for free, so I paid $28,700 + tags, tax, title. At this price point- with the solid handling and incredible MPG, especially with adding in the convenience items such as keyless entry, heated seats and steering wheel, power driver seat with lumbar, auto dimming rearview mirror with the Homelink garage door opener, etc., I think this car is an absolute steal. 225HP doesn't rival my BMW, but it's plenty quick with the hybrid system, and, as I mentioned, it handles really well. The trunk space is decent, too, which we were worried about coming from an SUV to a sedan, but you can fit 2 full 24" luggage, 2 20", 2 of the short ones, and 2 carry on bags, all in the trunk. I highly recommend the new Camry!

Big Blue Comes Through!

2025 Toyota Camry LE 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

We've had our Reservoir Blue Camry for a little over 6 weeks now, and we're loving it! The gas mileage is phenomenal for a car this size. It's not unusual to get over 60 MPG on short jaunts. We've only filled it up maybe three times. Its ride quality is quiet and smooth (which is why we didn't want the SE model), and even though it's the bare-bottom base LE model, it's still brimming with great features! I was afraid that since it was a hybrid that it would accelerate like a snail, but I had to speed up rather quickly once to pass and it actually pushed me back in my seat! I was impressed with how quickly it accelerated when the electric motors kicked in! My advice--don't be afraid about it being a hybrid, because it's extremely powerful, and the car goes from EV mode to hybrid mode seamlessly. No, it isn't a race car, but that's not why I bought it anyhow. It's definitely a keeper and I love the great gas mileage and roominess!

2025 Toyota Camry SE

Pros: Smooth transmission Extraordinary milage Cons: Driver seat is not comfortable Engine noise is high when acceleration Outside wind can be heard inside Some slight jerk when hybrid-gas-hybrid transition happens When we take full right, U turn or when we park the car, hearing some grinding noise and felt in steering wheel. Many people complained about it. But dealer says nothing to worry
