Finally!
After a couple of years patiently waiting, I finally found the Solara ragtop for me! The '05 beauty was an off lease vehicle with only 27k miles and was spotless inside and out. It was obviously well cared for during its lease tenure and is still perfect now. Love the heated front seats and the fact that it seats 4 quite comfortably. Trunk space is awesome and it rides/handles much like a BMW 325. (although a bit anemic in the power dept.) I shopped BMW's and Mercedes as well but the Solara is a much better value for the $$. This one's definitely a keeper!
Toyota's for us !
This is our second Toyota, first was a 03 Camry XLE. Wife had to have the soft top. So far this seems to be a great machine. Its got the bling factor she needed for a progressive real-estate broker. The fuel milage and sportyness to make it fun to drive! Thanks Toyota!

One of the Best Convertable cars around
the only down side i must say is that the price on it, and Toyota quality and relaibility is undoubtable. The best feature is the console for absolutly wonderful.
My convertible
My review is stated in the following two items. I don't like the way the top folds. The boot is clumsy. One cannot see out the back clearly thanks to the headrests which I have been told do not remove.
MY PERSONAL OPINION - FOR WHAT ITS WORTH
REAR WINDOW IS SMALL IN CONVERTABLES. THE HEAD REST ON REAR SEATS BLOCKS VISABILITY EVEN MORE. THEY COULD BE RETRACTABLE WHEN THERE ARE NO PASSENGERS. THAT WAY, YOU WOULD HAVE THE ENTIRE REAR WINDOW FOR VISABILITY.
