Great automobile. Who needs a Lexus?
I have 55,000 miles and never had to replace anything but battery and tires. No need for a warranty!! 31 mpg on highway 19 around town. Most comfortable car I've ever owned!!

Nice car but
I drive a lot and own each of the current Corolla, Camry, and Avalon models. To me, the biggest difference between the three is their size. They are all very roomy, comfortable riding and very quiet. The only reason I bought this Avalon was the huge back seat for passengers, otherwise I think the Camry is just as nice. The Corolla is still my favorite. Drive each of these three cars before you choose is my advice.
Radio Malfunction
AM Radio has so much static that you can barely understand. I took it to the dealership 2 times & was told that there was a problem with the design of the antenna & they can't do anything about it. Some reviews online seem to indicate the problem has gone back to 2007.
Great Engine
I have now spent 12,000 miles in my Avalon. This a great car. I am getting 25 MPG on average and up to 30 MPG on highway. Great Power and with the manual override transmission you can really get off the line when you have to. Engine flys form 40 to 70 MPH. This car is big and roomy. I fully agree with the Edmunds Road test. They nailed it perfectly on all counts
Beautiful Automobile!!
If you can find a good one you can't beat this car. I have a 2010 Limited with 55,000 miles on it. Truly love it! Never did anything to it except oil changes and tires.
