After a short drive in a Model S a number of years ago and later renting one for a day in CA; reading all of the reviews/videos - good and bad, the planets aligned. Gestation period was 7 months and delivery - eezy-peezy. One issue with the rear hatch not closing properly was looked after at SC in KVL. Home wall connector installed, so we look at gas prices thru a whole new lens. First road trip (1700 miles) was a breeze with Supercharger network and AP. The charging stops become "meet & greets" with other owners and ICE drivers. Solid feel when behind the wheel (one pedal driving). Other EV's are out and more on the horizon but Tesla is already way down the road. Do your homework & research; Tesla may not be for you - this 2022 Tesla Model Y LR hits the sweet spot for me as I luckily find myself in the front seat to the future. The journey continues.........

I have had this car for 2 years with a couple of minor issues that were fixed at home. I have other cars too but we gravitate towards driving this car. There is big hoopla around a Tesla and it seems Edmunds rating is affected by that too. They have deliberately tried to reduce it's rating. For example, Modely Y has much bigger storage capacity than BMW ix but somehow the Tesla gets an 8 and BMW gets 8.5. Really? Also, continuing to harp about missing Apple Car Play is ridiculous when Tesla system has better options and visualizations.

Nothing to dislike. Good sized, reliable, very efficient, superchargers all over the freeways, no range anxiety. Highly recommended.. no middleman, no haggling when buying Tesla..

The car is amazing - silent, stunningly fast, flat around the corners. I've had no build issues. The propulsion is addictive. I love it. My only complaint is the ride can be rough on some roads. I just remind myself it is a sports car. A crossover this tall shouldn't be able to handle the way it does. So much fun! The icing on the cake is that I haven't been to a stinky gas station since January - yay!

I bought a 2022 model Y and it had lots of imperfections like decklid mis-aligned,left fender upper windshiel post mis aligned fender was rubbing on body and making noise, back seat misaligned, brough it in for service and since january 2022 car has not been fixed, customer service expect me to drop a brand new car for service and giving me UBEr credits and no loaner car its a brand new car that needs repairs and now its april and repairs has not been done. TERRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT.
