Used 2022 Tesla Model Y Consumer Reviews
Best car I have ever own
Can’t say enough about it. It ticks all the boxes. Safety, fun and fast!
Fancy little Diva
Driving experience: My perception of vehicular acceleration was altered forever, the first time I stepped on the proverbial "gas" pedal. The fact that a popular car simply compete and win against a half a million dollar luxury Italian stallion, if I didn't know better, would have called it Alien technology or worse, Devil's work. The pampering of not using brakes to decelerate but simply taking off your foot of the pedal is something one gets used to, and the gas run cars just cant compete with. Then there is the touch tech for everything. Once you get used to treating your car like your iPAD, it feels weird to turn knobs and press buttons again. Then there is the self drive option., It still feels more like a parlor trick to me, one that i want for fun., but won't really use unless i have all the time on my hands and there is not much traffic. Did i mention that what fun it is to pass by the local gas station and not knowing was the gas price is.. Priceless! For a first to market brand., Tesla is a kick ass product., and like a first to market brand.,there is a lot to get used to. If burning gas in retail isnt your thing, Go Tesla! Here are somethings that you will miss though. 1. You can't let a Valet park your car... go figure. Your phone is the key. Go figure. 2. Dont ever believe the 240 miles it says it can go. Its actually around 170. 3. If you wanna drive on a high was a non stop 300 mile drive., Tesla should not be your choice. Being a sitting duck in a supercharge location for 15 minutes in the middle of the night is not a safe choice. 4. Cold weather drains the power. So if its parked in the cold., its running... think about it. 5. Its not all savings, consider 60% less expenditure on fuel. 6. Maintenance cost is touted to remain flat, which while being amazing TCO sell, doesn't tell you that the batter getting progressively inefficient makes for less than par resell value. 7. The Tesla insurance: Never ever fall for it. They are the worst set up of i've seen. Wont reply to phone, mail or any correspondence for months. No repercussions.
