my wife LOVES this car
Had need for a new vehicle in Sept and w/ 6 month baby - looked for a "wagon" type car ideally with awd/4wd but not a monster suv and wanted to stay btwn 20- 25k (lower end) after endless searching the forester fit the bill perfectly. have it 3 weeks & already have trip to VT on it. rides great & looks really cool (blk)- constantly getting compliments and it has EVERY feature & then some. got great deal thru BJ's auto website & dealer without much haggle within a few hundred of dealer invoice & dealer threw in bunch of xtras for taking off lot (bumper cover/rearview mirror dimmer/compass, cargonets, roof rubstrips, etc)
Don't Overlook Subaru Forester

My first new car
It took me over 6 months to decide which one will be my first new car. Santa Fe, Jetta Wagon, Matrix, Protege5 all good cars but Forester win my heart. Now, after 100 miles I still believe that is the best deal of my life. I love it, I love it, I love! Fun to drive, a lot of personality, gigantic sunroof size.
9 months after purchase
This is a very good car that we like better all the time. Utility and ease of use are high points. Surprsingly good handling.
Denver to Moab on 1 tank of gas
This our second Forrester. We have a 99' L and we just traded in our gas guzzling Jeep Liberty for the 2003 XS Premium. Nice improvements a the same great reliable pratical mountain car. Good power with AWD and great gas milage.
