I have only had this car for about a month and a half now, but already I know its a great car. Im this month and a half I have only had to refuel the tank three times. its also just a fun car to drive. If you have it in manual its even more fun. o yea, and there are some people that are saying that the turn radious is really bad. you guys must be talking about a different car, because there is nothing wrong with the turning radious on this car. So all in all its a god car.

Seems I've had a similar experience to everyone on here. I had to replace my alternator 3 times in 190,000 miles, belt tension, pumps, no engine or transmission problems. I've been hit at high speeds twice, and the car held up well, especially against the fort explorer at 50 mph, amazingly well actually. The car has never let me down, when something breaks you know it's coming. I want to get a new car, but i keep thinking. How much more can this thing go??? I've had it since 1999 and this thing has saved me a lot of money. I know when i turn the key its going to start. I think my car is actually coming back into style I've had it for so long :)

My Saturn

My car was a tough guy. I drove it hard and it took quite a punishement and still would go down the road. Only complaint is it used oil. Bad rings since 60,000, but took almost 90K more before I had a real issue with the oil leak.

Great little car

Purchased new in 1995 and have driven it ever since. 18 year-old son now driving it. It has 152k and we just took it on a thousand mile trip to the mountains with no problems. Few repairs include: alternator, door/window leaks, shifter cable - less than $800 in 13 years! Gets 37 mpg hwy. and 33 city. And costs $37/month to insure 18 year old! Has been the best car I've ever owned. I hope it will survive two teenage boys.

I BOUGHT THIS CAR USED AFTER DRIVING A CIVIC SEDAN. THE HONDA HANDLED BETTER IN BAD WEATHER. THE SATURN WAS DESIGNED FOR SMALLER PEOPLE. MY HUSBAND CAN NOT DRIVE THIS CAR COMFORTABLY. THE SEAT IS CONTOURED TOO NARROW TO FIT HIS BODY. THE BIGGEST THING THIS CAR HAS GOING FOR IT IS ITS SLEEK DESIGN. MY ADVICE GO FOR A HONDA.
