Transmission needs replaced at 3500 miles
We purchased a new 2024 Ram 3500 SWD at Casa Grande AZ Ram Jeep in April - before we ever picked up the vehicle we were informed that there was a recall, TSB Bulletin 21-054-24-REV D - for the rear selective thrust washer failure. The dealer had to drop the transmission to replace this part - again, we had not taken possession of this vehicle, not even sure we signed papers yet - however when we got home we found that Casa Grande Jeep Ram had put a warranty claim in Ram for this repair for $2,861.89 under our name and listed the milage as 170 - we took possession of this vehicle with 15 miles on it.....fast forward 45 days later and we were on a camping trip and 5 miles out of the campground and we had a total transmission value on our brand new Ram with 3500 miles on it. The truck and the 5th wheel had to be towed off the road. We contacted Ram customer service on Friday May 30th and was told a case manager would be calling us in one business day - be available and keep the phone line free - its been 3 days and countless calls and Ram has yet to respond to us. We feel that whatever work was done to this brand new truck at Casa Grande Ram Jeep is likely the catalyst to our transmission failure. We were traded in a beautiful 2010 Dodge Ram Laramie dually because that truck became so unreliable - during our 12 years of ownership we were in 8 different dealerships from coast to coast 11 times and we had decided enough was enough - getting stranded hauling your RV with a dog who knows where is not easy to navigate - so we went brand new and here we are....Ram is not responding - I don't want this truck and they need to make it right if only anyone with authority would call us back.

LARAMIE ....NIGHT EDITION
Truck is great, looks mean. Plus it's a dually, no chrome.... only negative on the truck is that it did not have the blind spot or sun roof.
