Surprisingly easy to do basic maintenance. Almost as easy as my 2004 Miata. After three owners and 65,000 miles, looks great, drives great and is fun at autocross too. OEM parts such as brake rotors, pumps, clutch are expensive but last at least 50,000 miles.

I drove the car which looked good from 20 feet away! Much like my Boxster when I bought it. However, the drive revealed similar issues I encountered with my Boxster. The ride was harsh even for a Porsche with stiff suspension. The throttle had some tip in delays suggesting a new throttle body and tune up were needed! The suspension may need rework as well! I also thought the price was rather high even for a relatively low mileage car. The dealer wants over 32k for a car Edmund’s values at between 25k to 28k. There were some minor cosmetic interior flaws that need repair or replacement. Again much like my Boxster when I bought it. These minor things on a Porsche can be quite expensive and hard to get especially during COVID. I spent around 25k fixing my Boxster and at the dealer asking price plus repair items on an older model 911, I could be halfway way to a much newer Porsche for the same total money!

Best balance between old fashioned driving experience without excessive electronic intervention or rather interference.
