Great Gas Milage

2015 Nissan Versa Note 1.6 SR 4dr Hatchback (1.6L 4cyl CVT)

I purchased a 2015 Versa Note SR in November 2014 and it has been a good little car. If you are expecting all the bells and whistles along with plushness then this car is not for you. I have owned several Nissan's in the past and have been very pleased with the overall quality and when it came time the Versa fit the bill. I found this car at a very good price and since it is the SR it feels a little more sporty than the other models. My main concern was fuel economy since I have quite a drive to work. This car delivers! I don't fill up nearly as often as I used to! I like my little car as I have seen others don't care as much for it. It fits 4 adults comfortably with lots of luggage. If you are looking for something with lots of power then I would look else where it is slightly sluggish but I am not in a hurry very often. If your expecting a lot out of an entry level car under 20,000.00 then good luck in your fair tale world. I was expecting what I bought and I am very happy with it. I was wanting a low price, great gas mileage, and it happens to look sporty and cute. Great buy!

BEWARE OF CVT TRANSMISSION ISSUES!!!

2015 Nissan Versa Note 1.6 SV 4dr Hatchback (1.6L 4cyl CVT)

I bought a brand new 2015 Nissan Versa Note SV in 2015 and this year (2020) I had to replace the transmission. And since I was a month over my 5yr Powertrain warranty Nissan refused to help with the repairs. 5,000$ later and now my car has a new transmission (my car only had 80,000km on it). Apparently it’s a very common issue for the versas et sentras from 2012-2017. I would recomend trading in your car before the CVT transmission gives out! Nissan was only giving me 2,500$ for my car if I traded it in with the broken transmission...

It's a 4 cylinder low weight car. It's not a truck, SUV, or Corvette. It's a fabulous car with great gas mileage. Fun little tool around driving car. I've had it for 4 weeks and I love it. I am 5'8", it's comfy has all the room I need. I can't wait to take it on a road trip form SC to VA soon!

Huge disappointment - expensive repairs

Kayla, 05/16/2020

At the time when we bought this car, Nissan was undergoing a lawsuit that involved faulty transmission. We had no idea of this lawsuit, and ended up paying $3,600 for the repaired transmission. This car also needed a repair for the catalytic converters, which will cost $1,000. I would reconsider purchasing this car considering the repair costs that could have been invested into a more reliable model.
