No malfunction lights...but cannot pass emission
I have just returned from the Nissan Dealership to diagnose a failed emissions. My o2 sensor is not reading as ready and there is not apparent reason for this. The process to get it review/repaired and passed is beginning to not be worth the cost. I love this car, but I was advised that this model has some insane drive cycle requirements. Getting it passed and THEN getting it registered is beginning to not be worth the value of the vehicle. It was good for the short while I had the vehicle.

Starter car
I've had this car for 5 years. Had to already get a new transmission 2 years ago, had so much maintenance and repairs worked on it, to where it added up to 7,000$ more than it was worth just on repairs within 5 years of owning it. Luckily the Transmission was under warranty. Good starter car though, Slow and hesitant acceleration, especially on the high way.

Car is junk
Very cap materials used in construction. Very small and noisy engine. Controls not thought out. Rides rough , sterring wheel shakes when stopped at red light. Limited rear visability.

Nissan Versa note 2015 CTV transmission
If I could rate it 00000 starts I would ,worse car I have ever had from day one when I pulled it from showroom brand new. The airbag signs turned on, The transmission broke @62 k,they put another transmission saying it’s new come to know it was refurbished and broke down @74 k(didn’t even get to point of changing transmission oil) Now the dealership wants to charge $5000 for another refurbished transmission,I should have gone with Ford I would have been better off ,which I never liked . Rip offs won’t even acknowledge that there transmission sucks can’t even last 75k

Top Choice
It's been 3 years now. I have no complaints. All I do is routine maintenance by the dealer. I realize using premium fuel solves the complaint of the Versa Note not having enough freeway pep for passing or pulling out. I researched whether it had a timing belt or chain. It has a chain. Since I'm over sixty I thought twice about buying a stick shift (always my preference) but you never know when I'll have an injury. With the CVT I need only 1 foot to drive. The space is generous, the gas mileage is impressive (Avg 33 combined city/hwy). I am happy with my purchase (Certified Pre-Owned). I love the back-lit controls and the logical location of the controls. The one little thing I do miss is the access handle above the drivers door. It's my mini-SUV. I would recommend it to anyone.
