Need Different Interior!!!
It's been fun to drive and cool to own the car. I enjoy driving this car daily.
Proud Spec V owner
I've owned the vehicle for a little less then a year. It's been fantastic. Mechanically sound even with a few mods added from previous owner. Absolutely fun to drive. Only gripe would be the torque steer when giving a modest amount of gas from the start. For a tuner fan like me though, it provides more fun. For already being a 6 year old vehicle the engine on this vehicle runs flawless with 85,000 miles. A warning to potential car buyers... you will want to drive this car aggressively, it begs for it.

2002 Nissan Sentra GXE
Well I bought this car about 3 months ago and Im very pleased with it so far. I really like the exterior styling opposed to the older sentra's. One thing I dont like is the power, I wished it had more. I know there is the Se-r and Se-r spec V but 126hp in isnt a enough for the GXE. The 2000 sentra Se even had around 140hp. I think Nissan should have kept that horse power in the GXE for 2002. But overall its the most reliable car you can get. I would much rather have this car than a 2002 Honda Civic any day. I recomend this car to anyone who is thinking about getting a economical car that isnt over 20,000$
Great car
This car is one of the best cars you can get for the price you pay. There is no other car on the market that can do what this car can do for under 20K. It's got great acceleration and it's just fun to drive with six speeds. The car handles smoothly and the seats are very comfortable. They hold you pretty well in place when you make those sharp turns. And for 17" wheels, the ride is extremely quite and smooth. The interior is spacious and there is a lot of trunk space. The car is big enough to fit 4 while sporty enough to have fun with. The gas mileage is good too for a car with this capability.
SE-R is a winner!
When I first saw this car, I thought "Jeez, another Japanese car with a rear spoiler...just what I need (NOT!)." Then I drove it...it was great! Smooth, powerful (as a small car can be) and handles like a sports car. My only gripe is the styling. Now if Nissan could make the Altima look and drive like this, they'd have a real winner.
