My 2010 Nissan Rouge is one of the many 2008-2010 Nissan Rogue vehicles that are defected. It has same continuous transmission problem, it is unsafe to drive in a highway. However, Nissan does not do a recall.

CVT transmission issues

Please google Nissan Rogue CVT transmission issues before considering this vehicle. I used to love my Rogue, but after 2 years of driving it, some serious concerns came up. I had multiple experiences where the transmission overheated, putting the vehicle into safety mode. When it is in safety mode, it DOES NOT GO. This happened to me on the highway, and right after getting off of the highway in the middle of an intersection. This issue has been reported in several instances, so please do research it! Nissan is aware of the reports, but only offered me a solution of changing the transmission fluid. I traded it in, as I found the vehicle too risky and unreliable. Please be careful.

CVT Transmission

Be aware CVT on 2010 is warranted to 120,000 miles, mine failed at 108,000 & luckily Nissan dealership made me aware of warranty(3500.00). At time when transmission failed(RPM rev up to 6500), AC stopped working immediately($1000.00), according to dealership no relation between trans & AC failure. Also had purchased 100K extended warranty at dealer but when Catalytic converter failed, was only warranted to 80K(didn't read fine print.

Transmission problems

I purchased my 2010 Nissan Rogue 6 months ago for $12k with 114k actual miles. Seemed like a great car, but after a month I noticed a shuddering at stop lights almost like it would stall. I had it checked at 3K mile oil change and tech said it was fine. 3 weeks ago the transmission failed completely after 6 months ownership and 6k miles with the mileage at 400 miles over the 120k warranty. Driving interstate, whining noise, rpms at red line with acceleration and then unable to maintain speed until complete stall. Restarted after cool down, check engine light came on 10 miles later but no problems while driving to dealer. Nissan will not help and cost is $4k plus wracked up $1k rental fee

I've had problems with my car for awhile now. When I'm stopped, the entire car shutters, this also happens when I accelerate. My rpm's also jump from 3-6 (I'm not speeding)and when I let off the accelerator to slow down, my speed stays the same with my rpm's going back and forth from 3-6. I called the dealership where I purchased the car and I was told that since my check engine light has NOT come on, they can't help me. They can look at it for $57.00 but the computer has not recognized any problems yet so there is not much they can do. Basically, drive it until you break down. Nice!! I called the corporate office and was told they stand behind what I was told by the dealership!!Fantastic

Update: I traded this for a Corolla in 2017. The best decision ever. My sister's Armada's transmission just died after 6 years too. Stay away from Nissan cars. Research Nissan CVT engines and save yourself headaches and money. I bought the 2010 Nissan Rogue AWD SL model new. For the first two years, it drove with no problems. Since then, I have had the battery replaced three times. The third time, Nissan would not honor their own warranty on the battery even though their sticker was still on the battery. In fact, this car is rated by JD Power as "electronically deficient". Twice, the transmission has locked up on me while driving up in the mountains. This is extremely dangerous and it cost $99 each time for Nissan to have to reset the computer. The engine trembles when I am at lights and the car jerks forward hard when I accelerate. The noise is unbelievable. It actually sounds like a helicopter is above me the entire time I am driving. I have taken the car to Nissan and they told me that I my tires were too noisy for them to be able to figure out what was wrong with the transmission. So basically, their technicians cannot figure out the difference between tire noise and transmission noise. Nissan extended the transmission warranty on my model because they knew very well that they were selling garbage, but they did not want to admit to a recall. The exhaust and bottom cover started rusting the second year I had the car. Nissan admitted that salt used on snowy roads was the cause and they did recall this, but they only recalled it in certain northern states. Well, southern states get snow too. Nissan will never get a penny out of me again.

I drive imported cars where I live, however, I bought this vehicle brand new off the lot in about an hour, to use while I spend a few weeks each at my winter home in Florida. It seemed economical and sensible. Its garaged and not driven for about 9-10 months of the year. Consequently, there is low mileage. I happened to notice that after about 4 seasons, the passenger airbag light came on. I took it to the dealer who indicated that it was the OCS sensor in the passengers seat that was faulty, and that it would cost around $2,000 to fix. It had 14,000 miles on it. The dealer told me it was not under warranty, and that I must pay for the repair. The problem was that this sensor seemed to have quit while I was back at home, so it could not be taken in to the dealer until I returned in 8 months, unbeknownst to me. I explained this to the dealer, Sutherland Nissan Fort Myers, where I bought it from, and it was still a big fat NO. They told me to call Nissan USA. I called them, they opened a case, and in a day told me it was off the warranty and they would not do anything, in spite of the low mileage. Now, 2 years later, I asked the dealer again during routine service, about the air bag light. They tried to see what they could do, which again was nothing. They told me to try Nissan USA again. I did, and within a day, they indicated that they would not consider helping me out at all for the expensive repair. I was prepared to pay something, and hoping Nissan would help out. Well, as I told them on the phone, its not an oil change I am calling about, its poor quality from the get go, and has been a tremendous safety issue while this airbag is non functional. I have grandchildren and a wife in the car frequently. I think this is terrible on Nissan USA part, I will not ever buy another Nissan again, and will continue to tell anyone this story, who will listen to me. I cannot even sell it in this condition. As of the last review, other things continue to happen, brake lights failing etc. Thanks for nothing, Nissan. This Rogue is a lemon.

Scary start of owning a new car

Well, the car itself seem to be great, that is until after only 104 miles, I get a check engine light. Yes that right the car has 104 miles on the ticker and we already are experiencing issues. After my "man check" of all fluids etc. I find there is almost no oil in the car. Don't they fill this up at the factory! Either way the nice people at the dealer have taken my new car and I am now stuck w/ versa for the weekend. What a great start. Other than that the awd version is a much smoother driver than the fwd. If you have the choice go awd.

Sorry I bought this 2010 Rouge. From the day I drove it home. The car vibrates & the steering wheel shakes. Took it back 6 times. They do not know what is wrong with it. I test drove other rouge. And it does not shake or vibrate. I believe it is the transmission. The repair shop does not think it is transmission. Deep down they know it is the transmission. I am suppose to be fully covered. Never buy a car from Nissan of Queens. They are thieves. Whom rip off the customers and over charge you. Buyer Beware!!!!!! I want my car fixed. And the dummies cannot figure out what's wrong with it.

I can't complain. I shouldn't complain. My Rogue is almost 9 years old with 230,000 miles on in. I have read the reviews on this model. My tranmission has whined when accelerating. The car shudders when it comes to a stop. I lived with all this for nine years. What I don't understand is it was running great, until one day I got in and couldn't accelerate without a great deal of effort and shuddering. Finally had it towed (couldn't make it home) and it needs a new transmission! This has been a wonderful car and for the $21,000ish I paid for it, it's been a more than fair value. I just wish I had something to trade in, since I am not fixing this transmission!

2010 Rogue - BAD CVT - SHAME ON NISSAN

Cathy C. New York, 10/05/2018

Nissan is waiting for the warranty on the CVT Transmission to run out so they will not have to fix these cars. They have 2 more years, they are just binding time and the NTSB is doing NOTHING to help consumers. Nissan extended the warranty on the CVT from 60K to 120K or 10 years, but when you take the car into the dealership with complaints they say there are NO CODES, the transmission is fine. IT IS A LIE. In 2013, I almost died in my car exiting the highway when my car lost power. I came to a stop from about 65 MPH and the car completely lost power, I was lucky the truck behind me did not hit me. I took the car to the dealer the same day, nothing was found. I explained how the car shudder, like it has the chills!!! Nope, dealer could not find anything wrong – no codes. I took the car back multiple times over the 8 years I have had it for the same issue. Last year April 2017, I took the car back again for the same thing… and nothing. They change the transmission oil and charged me $399! On October 2, 2018, my car lost power on the highway and would not accelerate over 50 MPH. The engine had a loud whining sound and struggling. I called the dealer and they said bring it on Thursday. However, on my way home from the doctor, the car would not go above 40 MPH so I drove directly to the dealer and told them I was leaving it there. Today, October 4, 2018 the dealer called and said they drove it twice, and found nothing wrong with the transmission it accelerated without issue. But they found my axle was bad and I needed bearings, etc. I asked, what does that have to do with the car losing power? I was told, with transmission, sometimes when the car cool vs. hot it acts differently but there is nothing to be done. THIS IS WRONG! SHAME ON NISSAN.

A transmission that went rogue

Please do your homework on these cars before buying, unlike my foolish self. One simple google search would have given me a clear answer, but my wife and I were attracted to the sleek look, comfortable ride and cool features, and were in a hurry to buy. Purchased the 2010 rogue with 360° package AWD with about 128k miles. After a year of pretty easy maintenance (serpentine belt snapped, no biggie) the car started to seriously act up. Around 142k, while on the freeway starting a fun road trip, the rpms spiked to 5-6k. Alas, the notorious transmission fail. Gives me nightmares to this day. After weeks of self diagnosis, a stepper motor replacement and 6 courts of expensive transmission fluid, the car seemed to run okay. That is of course until we ventured out on a road trip again. It decided to take us as far away as possible before crapping out again - 5 hours from home. Ended up towing it home, and scrapped pos for $1000. Lost about 6k total. Again, all my fault, and my hope is that someone will see this, along with others reviews and stay as far away as possible.

Do not buy this vehicle. I owned this vehicle since since 2012 and I had all kind of issues. I replaced the catalytic converter twice, tentioner, axle, etc... The biggest issue has been the CVT Transmission. My transmission let me down on the highway. I am lucky enough to still be alive. This vehicle is extremely unreliable and i will not recommend to anyone. DO NOT PURCHASE. IT IS A PIECE OF JUNK.

This car has been a money pit. A few hours after driving it off the lot at 60,800 miles (I brought it used) the tire pressure light came on and has stayed on ever since. I started having major transmission problems and this car has stalled out 4 times, once on a blind hill. Then the transmission totally went while I was driving on the Thruway leaving me stranded for 2 hours, after I was trying to accelerate up a hill, the rpms would rev, but I could only go maybe 45mph... on the thruway... with tractor trailers whizzing by. I replaced a rear bearing 2 times now, but still hear bearing noise from the same location, I can't idle with the AC or heat otherwise the whole car shudders like's about stall and I've replaced the fuel pump twice, catalytic converter, mass airflow twice, 2 other o2 sensors, an axel shaft and a caliper pin. And I just learned that the replacement transmission I got last summer is already failing. With the amount of money in replacement parts I paid for the car twice over. This car is a [non-permissible content removed], I broke down a total of 8 times last year because of minor and major problems, it's not reliable, it's a piece of crap.

Bought our Rogue in Aug. 2010. Liked the styling and handling. Got indicated 34 mpg on the way back from Chicago to Madison at 58 mph. Dropped to 31 at 65 mph. Cold weather drops mileage considerably. In mostly suburban driving in winter we average 23 mpg, freeway driving 28. The AWD/ABS/Traction control is fantastic in the snow. It's wonderful to be able to accelerate without spinning wheels and hoping they'll grab before the wolf pack descends on you. We installed U-haul hitch, grille chrome, lower side chrome accent strips, and roof rack which approximates the 2011 look. Also installed a compass/Homelink/garage door opener/self-dimming rear view mirror from Ebay which is great.

Another Bad Rogue

PJB, 09/01/2020

Don't fall for this car - the transmission will very likely fail on you. Read the oldest reviews first because it is not until this vehicle gets some miles on it that the troubles begin. I bought my 2010 Rogue in Sept 2016. At that time all the Nissan recalls and extended warranties were unknown to me. The car had 72,000 miles on it and was clean. Had the brakes done at 99,000 miles and other routine maintenance until the fall of 2019. I was evacuating due to an impending hurricane. I got 1.5 hours from home when the car's rpm's revved up and squealed while the acceleration went from 75mph to 40mph and I pulled off the interstate. I drove 25 - 30 mph to a gas station and sat for a few minutes. The car never overheated and the check engine light never came on. I turned around and drove the back roads back home. Had the car checked and nothing was found wrong with it. I was told "there is nothing wrong with your car." The next month the front right axle went bad. Spent about $500 on that repair. Started to get a bad feeling about the car. But no problems - until this June. I headed out after not going out of town for months due to the pandemic. Got 1.5 hours away and driving 75mph on interstate and the car repeated the same thing it had done the previous fall. I thought I was having a bad dream. The bad dream actually started when I took the car to my repair shop and asked them to look for codes. They found two transmission related codes, then cleared them and said take it to the dealer if it happens again. Long story short - the dealer could not duplicate the codes - because you have to drive the car at highway speeds for about an hour - when the transmission fail/slippage happens. It is very dangerous - as you can easily get rear ended. The car's warranty was up in August and I traded the car in for a Honda CRV a few weeks ago. It is night and day in how the cars drive. The Rogue shook when idling - really bad with the AC on and the rpms jumped around. It still looked good - but I won't buy another Nissan product. This one should have been recalled - not had an extended warranty - the Nissan won't rightfully honor anyway.

Less than half a year since I bought this car brand new, I found it hard to fill the gas tank and then the "Service" light was on and it was the fuel control valve causing the problem. It was replaced but the problem comes back again. Caroline from this site has had the same problem, and Nissan issued similar recall before. I believe all the OOW owners should get it replaced for free although I am still in warranty.

After having this car about a month I could tell something wasn't right. It finally messed up for someone else to notice a month or so later. Took it to the dealership twice and they could not find anything with their computer test. Now I am over 500 miles from home and the check engine light comes on and they lovely computer test says I need a brand new transmission.

Unfortunately, my 2010 Rogue has begun to give me problems when driving up hill. I lose power and the car does not accelerate even when I have my pedal to the floor. The local Nissan dealership had my car all day and their conclusion for my problem was that the car's safety mechanism turns on so the transmission won't overheat. Well I guess that's fine except for when I'm driving in 75-80 mph traffic and my car suddenly loses power. That's not really safe. I really hope that this problem is resolved and these cars are recalled.

My Rogue has about 18K miles on it now and the worst thing about it is the AC.I live in Texas and it's HOT in the summer and the AC in this Rogue has a hard time keeping up.It's been this way since the day I bought it. I bought a new 2009 Nissan Versa and gave it to my daughter and the AC in it worked great. The acceleration is poor but I like the CVT and the storage compartments in the doors and console are too small. I like the styling and other than the AC it's been very reliable.Nissan needs to put a better battery and tires in/on their cars. Every time I buy a car the manufacture wants to know what I think about the dealer. They never ask me what I think about their car!?

Loved my 2010 Nissan Rogue until it hit 70,000, and then it seemed to just fall apart. My main problem was with the rear differential. Despite it being a poorly made part and having 8 Nissans in my family, Nissan made no attempt to work with me on getting it fixed. After spending $2K on the repair and a month of absolutely horrible customer service, I'm selling the car and will not be returning to Nissan. The whole experience completely ruined my trust in the brand. Giving it 3 stars for the enjoyable experience I had prior.

Biggest POS ever! Never ever buy one of these pieces of junk. The CVT decided to go out on me while on the expressway with only 90 thousand miles on it. Dealer said it's caused by the trans getting hot after long drives... What's the point in having a car that can't go on highway drives!?? Terrible car don't waste your money on one you'll be nothing but disappointed

Purchased new SL in September 2010 and have been very pleased. Looked at CRV, RAV4 and Mazda CX7 and chose the Rogue and have no regrets. Now have almost 20K miles and have had no problems other than loose gas cap caused Check Engine Light to come on. In city gas mileage is right at 24 and best highway has been 31 when driving at 55mph with no AC. I'm 6'2" and fit comfortably in the drivers seat. My 16 yr old son who is also 6'2" fits comfortably in the back. This is not a sports car and doesn't drive like one. It is a small SUV that is a pleasure to drive, even on long trips.

Fuel gauge is totally inaccurate. Fuel gauge does not move until you drive 100 to 140 miles. Moves two notches at 240 miles. Nissan, on two occasions, tried to fix. Nothing changed. Great car! Looks good and feels good. I did extensive research before purchasing this car. The Rav4 and the CRV was also on the top of my list. But having driven them all, my wife and I feel that the build quality of the Rogue was much better than the others. The interior of the CR-V and the Rav4 feel very plastic like. The other major motivation was the warranties.

I bought a used rogue with 30,000 miles I already own an SUV. I bought it to replace my failed ford explorer with 162,000 miles. I needed a vehicle to go back and forth to work ( I drive 60 miles a day) needless to say I wanted something with good fuel economy, and a good warranty. I had my Rogue 3 months and i love it/ its comfortable nimble in traffic. I still have 70,000 miles left on a 100,000 mile warranty.its very stylish, and it must be a great CUV because I see sooo many on the road. go into a decent sized parking lot you will see at least 2 Rogues there.

This is the 2nd Nissan I have had. I had a Murano which I loved but it got totalled in 2007 when a 17 year old hit us head on. Very safe car. I hope the Rogue is just as safe. It does need more cupholders. Otherwise, I love it

Fun to drive. Averaging only 17.5 mpg. Very disappointing as I haven't been racing engine. I've been purposely slow-starting. But I have the a/c running non-stop and only local driving. Unhappy with driver's seat only adjusting 6 Rather than 8 positions. I'm 5'11" & 275. Stocky. I drive with seat all the way back and wish the base of seat reclined even just a little bit, but it can't. Little driver's legroom as my knee bangs into door handle or steering wheel. Interior & exterior design is great. Love black leather trim. A/c works great. Vents are even cool design. Not a ton of legroom in back seat. Bose is great. Storage is good. Gear shifting nonexistent! Like headlights & keyless!

I love this car, this is my first SUV ever, and I am not disappointed at all! It rides very smoothly, can barely feel the bumps on the road, comfort level is high, before this car I was driving a Cadillac CTS 2006, and I don't see any comfort reduction level. Visibility is very nice on this car, and gas millage is pretty good too. I get about 17 mpg on average which is less from what the manufacturer states, but in my area there are a lot of stop signs, and traffic, so it is reasonable. The mileage on this SUV is better than my previous car which was a Sedan. AWD responds very well, and the insurance is cheap for this car because it is safe and reliable.

Get 22-23 mpg, expected better with 4 cyl. 6' tall and felt squished in everything I got in except for Rogue, has best view of road including Murano. rear and side views not good, have already had some close calls. will not exactly cruise effortlessly at higher speeds like my 15 yr old 6 cyl Accord could which could still drive circles around Rogue but had to let it go. have to drive Rogue more gingerly/less aggressively but maybe that's a good thing. alarm will not arm automatically like I'm used to. seat won't tilt. took a while to get used to tranny which is smooth but a little draggy. good luck opting out of satellite radio auto-renew, you are in for frustrating experience.

This SUV has been a great combination of a family car and has been fun to drive. We have had no mechanical issues in the past 5 years (except one tire pressure sensor became faulty and was repaired by the dealership free under warranty). Battery life, breaks, tires have all lasted 5 years. Currently has 45,000 miles. Accelerates well for an SUV, gets reasonable gas mileage, and looks sporty.

final follow up on 2010 rogue, has 58,000 miles.Traded it on a pilot yesterday.Didn't buy a pathfinder due to premium fuel req.Unlike the 2009 we had the 2010 has been very nice to own.Only issue had for the length of ownership was the fuel gauge, not very accurate(was replaced once). The rogue has been a fine car,and has been fun to drive.Anytime punched up fuel mileage was 27pluss.the bose audio and blue tooth was a high point.Replaced tires at 44,000 and just maintenance.Dealer(Hunt Nissan)was the best.Feel bad about loosing them to the Honda guys, but we had to have a bigger car that used reg fuel.Ican say that a Rogue is a good choice to have.

I bought this car in Aug11 used from Hertz car rental 15.500$ an 2010 S AWD model with 38000mile on. After 6mon in use I decided to write this review as I used this page to choose the Rouge. I was looking for SUV but did not wanted pay the higher price and more on gas, therefore I was looking at sportage, tuscon, forester and rouge. I choose Nissan as I drove nissan sentra before and rogue is basically lifted sentra kind of w/ AWD and SUV look, car like driving and SUV feel and safety. We live in NortWest so this kind of car is ideal. I doesnot need fancy ride and towing capabilities so city like SUV = Rogue was an good choice. And the price was 1.500 - 2000 lesser than those others.

I bought this Rogue in January during a snow storm. I traded a Titan that had electrical problems and wanted a small SUV. I am 6ft 1 250 pounds and was not sure about feeling comfortable in a small SUV. Well, I was wrong. I can put my seat in a comfortable position and my wife who is also six foot fits comfortable in the back along with a child seat. Plenty of room in the back for a stroller and luggage (groceries). Have not had this long enough to test gas mileage. Make sure you test drive this on a rainy day.. Because its a hatchback there is ALOT of road noise. If this bothers you don't buy it, Nissan cant fix it. Awd worked great in the storm, my wife's altima would not even get out.

Some issues with my Rogue

Overall I like this car very much. On some occasions the car has locked itself with me outside it and without me pushing any lock. One time it did this with the engine running and the key inside. It happened about 8:45 p.m. while I was dropping off a book at my library's after-hours drop box. Also back-up visibility not so good. Window size/placement might be the reason. Also, the backup lights are dim; most of the time it looks as if they are not turned on. Aceleration from highway ramp onto highway not so good. The backup camera could use some guidelines for reference. According to your list of models, I did not understand what CVT means. I bought the lowest priced model. I thought is strange that the rear view camera was only offered in this model. I would have preferred a sunroom instead of the camera since it does not have guide lines on the screen

I bought my Rogue used with about 19K miles on it. I'm very happy so far. It looks good on the outside, very comfortable and quality interior and fun to drive. The rear visability isn't great, but that would be my only complaint. The highest gas milage I've seen thus far is about 26, and I average 23 normally. I drive about 20 miles on the highway to work, and have not taken a longer highway trip yet, so I expect maybe to see a little higher gas milage with that. I love the bluetooth feature, it works wonderfully! If you're in the market for a smaller SUV, this is defiently one to check into.

I actually owned 2 Rogues, and was happy with both. The only reason I got rid of the 1st one (08) was to trade for a new one (2010). I love the SUV feel combined with the great fuel economy of a midsized sedan. I always averaged 27+ MPG, and even got 30MPG on at least one occasion. The seats are comfortable and the interior is fairly roomy for it to be a small SUV/crossover. I had the 2010 for right at a year and put 15k miles on it, including a road trip from GA to OH and back, and never experienced any issues in the time I owned it. I traded it for a 2010 Altima because the Altima is my ultimate dream car :) but I was very pleased with my Rogues & recommend them to anyone!

I drove a Nissan 350z 2006, Altima Coupe 2008 and 2009 Mercedes C300 Sports, before i bought this car because i am going to have a baby. Compare Rogue to this car this is what i get out of it. Rogue as Advertised really handles better than the c300, equal of altima and lower than 350z. braking and acceleration is the same as an altima.Road comfort rogue is below c300 but above the altima and 350z. Rogue is a Nissan with it comes their trademark quick acceleration and darn good braking. The interior is ok unless you are expecting luxury then better have Murano. Fuel Economy-rogue is better than the three around 24 mpg city, haven't tested in highways. Rogue is a good fit for a starting family

After driving my wife's new Rogue, I gladly traded in my '08 Merc Mariner ... $1750 in rebates didn't hurt, but the overall value and performance cinched it. It has the smoothest and quietest ride of any small SUV by far (believe me, we drove 'em all!), and the comfort level is superior. The "whining" CVT transmission noise is inconsequential, but can be switched to traditional shifting if it's an issue. Ours have both the Premium and Leather Packages, and still came in just over $22k. There are a couple of options that we'd like to have had, but they're not available. Still, we're thrilled with the vehicle, and highly recommend that you drive it first or last when shopping for a new SUV.

I was looking to trade in my 2008 Altima for a small SUV with AWD. When I test drove the Rogue it felt perfect, very similar to driving my Altima, which I loved. Haven't had to use the AWD yet, but overall this car seems to be very solid and has driven well in the rain. One major complaint would be the HUGE blind spot to the rear. Back-up camera helps backing up, but nothing you can do on the highway. I also wish the Rogue had a package like the convenience plus the Altima has, I miss the sunroof, steering wheel controls, bigger door pockets and an interior gas cap release.

This us our 3rd Rogue. 2008 AWD was very noisy. 2009 was a lemon, Nissan could not fix it. Dealer helped us into 2010. So far this one has had none of the problems of the 2009. It has averaged 29 MPG all around driving. The trans is still noisy (as all are). The seats are good We take a lot of road trips (last week 2,983 mile trip). Fuel gauge is wacky (as all are). Disappointed that this 2010 has no in mirror compass. Would we buy a 4th? Can't say for sure (due to the way Nissan Company treated us with our 2009). But the dealer will have our biz for sure.

I have already reviewed this vehicle but I wanted to write a follow up. Since purchasing my Rogue S w/360 pkg in April, I have put 13,000 miles on it! I have loved driving every single mile! I am in outside sales and practically live in this car, driving 3 states. It is very comfortable for long drives and I can pile 4 suitcases of samples along with various other binders and misc all in in the cargo area. This keep my backseat clear of items, etc. AWD is awesome in torrential rain! I felt very safe after a 3 hour drive in that rain! Once you set your mirrors correctly, visibility is not that big of an issue. I love the smooth ride and its' get up and GO! Love love this Rogue

Test drove the Mazda CX7, no power and weird steering. Love the Rogue, great get up and go. Had Xterra, it drives like a truck, now I'm enjoying driving more. CX7 has extreme road noise, this one has a little but not very noticeable. Love the Bluetooth and moon roof. Would like a little more back space, but can make do. Back seat is fairly comfortable too. Highly recommend for someone wanting a smaller SUV with great gas mileage!
