Love this SUV
We have been searching for a new SUV, our old 2002 buck was ready to die so we traded in our Buick for the Nissan rouge we picked it up yesterday, drove it today love the feel the power and smooth ride, great car, we got it in glacier Pearl. Ppl complain of the service light that comes on and think it is a major problem when it come's on it means that the gas cap is not closed properly or tightly enough, so make sure the gas cap is tight and the light will not come on anymore if you tighten the gas cap hope this helps well looking forward to driving some more, lots of room in the back for storing everything, great small SUV excited to have this car, gappy trails everyone
long term with third rogue
We now have over 32000 miles on our third rogue.First two were problems. This one has been good till now.Fuel gauge stopped working, had to have sending unit.keyless is starting to not work in morning.I guess we are done with Nissan's.Can't imagine dealing with these kinds of problems as warranty expires(36,000miles). It is ashamed because this would really be a nice vehicle if not for the problems.Nissan has got to get on the ball.Have you noticed how the Rogue never is included in tests in magazines? I have.We have averaged 27MPG WE don't know what to get next.Maybe if nissan had a longer warranty or an extended warranty but as things are now,by by Nissan.

Solid car but the A/C is a bit meh
I bought this car new and was very impressed with the handling - very car like. Fit and finish of the interior is way above the competition (RAV4, CRV etc). The engine is powerful enough and I grew to love the CVT that some people hate. The front seats are very comfy and the few times I get to sit in the back I am comfortable there too. This was the last car on my shortlist and I didn't want to like it but I really did. 12 months later and I still like the car a lot. It is what it is - its a compact SUV crossover with AWD (btw the AWD really does work well in light snow and ice). The visibility out of the back is poor (styling) and the A/C is NOT great for Texas summer. Still like the car.
Celebrating 11 years of rogue in October
~140k miles. Has survived without any major issues over the years unlike many other posts. The rogue has been all over this country, in a variety of conditions, and has performed well enough for me. Just had to put in 1k to replace the control arms and an oil leak, but other than that it's doing good in its old age. Tire pressure sensor seems to have failed now, as the light remains on when starting. Has always had that 0.5k RPM shudder issue at stops that keeps your passengers curious. Likely better options out there, but I can't complain for the experiences I've had. Not sure when I'll trade it in, as its basically worthless resale wise at this point, but the sentimental value will always be high on my rogue.

Bad cars and owfal customer service
All knows rogue 2010 have problems with the transmision, but Nissan instead do not reconize it. No one should get a car from them, shame on nissan. In my family we lost our faith in them, we have 4 nissan cars, but because of the bad experienced, we are getting rid of them

Catastrophic Failure
We loved this car. It was just right for us for 12 years. Then, without any warning, it lost power and we barely got off the tollway. It would only creep along and this was in heavy traffic. Ended up having it towed to the major Nissan dealership in Naperville, Illinois. The bottom line- over $7000 in repairs needed. They offered $800 for the vehicle. I’ll never know if we were taken advantage of or not. Anyway know that this could happen to a Rogue after, in our case, 130000 miles
Automatic transaxle does not last.
I purchased a brand new 2010 Nissan Rogue Krom AWD. Transaxle was replaced 2 times. There should have been a recall on the transaxle. I will never buy another Nissan.

Eh....
I bought about 2 and a half years ago a 2010 Nissan Rogue, Krom Edition. I loved the car except for a few quirks. One, the Krom edition didn't have any mirrors in the sun visor. Seriously Nissan?? Also, there wasn't enough lighting in the car itself. There was only one dome light and there was no lighting in the trunk area. That made unloading anything from the back at night almost impossible. I upgraded, I guess you could say, yesterday to a 2016 Rogue. It's on lease and it's the AWD base model. That's a different review altogether. I was happy with my Rogue, obviously or I wouldn't have gotten another one. The main reason for the trade in was the fact that the car was fastly approaching the 80k mark. Some people would say that the car still has life in it.

great buy for a crossover SUV
Love everything about the car especially the leg & headroom. The seats are comfortable. Acceleration is smooth and it does not feel like a 4 cylinder. Used to own a Rav4 and this car definitely feels better. The speaker sound quality is awesome. The downside is the rear seat not being able to recline. This is a good buy @ $16,990 + tax + title + dealer destination.
Family Car
My wife needed a larger vehicle than the VW Beetle she was driving after having our baby. I looked at Gm and Ford, but I felt a cold shoulder from them. Like it was my duty to buy American. No sir...you don't pay my bills. We passed a Roque on the highway and my wife loved it. After looking we decided this was the right car for us. We stepped up from the S to a 360 package. These extra features set it apart from the base model. As a guy who builds bikes on time off I need style and this little crossover isn't lacking it. I'm actually a little mad that I can't drive it every day.
A good Rogue
My Rogue handles very well even in the wind. Acceleration is good, it rides very comfortably, the sound of the transmission was odd at the beginning but I don't notice it now. No problems getting around this past winter. I'm very happy with the vehicle.
