Used 2015 Nissan Murano Consumer Reviews
slipping transmission w/intelligent cruise control
Have a new 2015 Nissan Murano. Has Intelligent cruise control. When overriding the cruise control to pass a car, sometimes the transmission slips, the engine RPM increases tremendously, the car slows and jerks, when you accelerate more the trans re engages, or when you turn the cruise control off the trans re-ingages. Dealer replaced the transmission, but had the same results. The factory rep said it was the intelligent cruise control, and could not be fixed. So I couldn’t get it fixed and got rid of it and took the loss. Never buy another Nissan product.

Don't Waste Your Money
Nissan's best days are behind them. Do your research work before buying this vehicle. The external look of the this vehicle is outstanding but that is where the value ends. In six months this is what I experienced: 1) Rotors resurfaced at 103 miles 2) Major Fluid Leak at 2000 miles 3) Power Tailgate starts to drop down after it opens. Also, there is an open recall that could cause a "thermal" event for your high priced vehicle. The "thermal" event simply means that it can catch on fire. Nissan told buyers the fix would be available in December of 2016. Unfortunately, Nissan is no closer to solving the problem. I attempted to trade this vehicle in on either an Acura, Mercedes or BMW product but each of the dealers informed me that they would NOT resale the vehicle because of the safety issues. In other words, they gave me a "auction value" on the vehicle which means I will lose approximately $12K in 6-months. There are much better vehicles in this class that offer a better warranty and will hold their value more than Nissan.

Love my Murano
This is a great car. Had a Lexus RX350 before this and we like the Murano better. Feels roomier and very comfortable. Very quiet and love all the safety features. After 9550 miles we still love it.

I have a 2015 Murano Platinum and had in and out of the shop for different things but I right now it's in the shop because they replaced the transmission 2 time now and the fuel pump and now it back in again for the 4 time because they can't find out why i'm only getting 11 miles a gallon I had a case with Comsumer's affairs dept. at Nissan but they called me today and they told me my case was denied I'm not happy with them and i'm not happy with a car that cost over $43,000. my warranty is almost over and now any repairs will come out of my pocket I"M NOT HAPPY Nissian is not as good as it use to be I will let everyone know
