Used 2003 Nissan Maxima Consumer Reviews
Time Traveler
Most fun I have had driving in several years. Beats many more expensive cars in performance and saves at the pump.
Fun & Reliable
This car is a pleasure to drive! It's very quick with excellent handling and braking. The seats are very comfortable although head room in the back is a little tight for a six footer.
3 years old and love it
Have a 2000 GLE that I drive to airport and back. 3 years old now and just turned 10K miles, totally pampered. Still smells and runs like new. Haven't had one problem since I bought, only in for oil change / tire rotation. The way I'm putting miles on this baby I'll probably be getting classic car plates for it. Great car for the $$
SE/TITANIUM EDITION
SO FAR SO GOOD, NO PROBLEMS, I CAN FEEL THE BRAKES GRINDING DURING STOPPING, ROTORS SHOW RUST WHEN IT RAINS OR GETS WET, THEY SEEM TO BE OF LESSER QUALITY, LIKE MY PREVIUOS MAXIMA. LITTLE STRONG ON THE TORQUE STEER,OTHER THAN THAT THE PERFORMANCE IS OUTSTANDING
Bang for Buck
Hated '04 styling. Picked up used (13K) '03. All options incl. Nav. Potenzas hydroplane. Suspension and low profile tires are great for smooth roads. Potholes knock you silly. Squeaks and rattles down the road? Also disappointed with the BOSE stereo. Cranked up full volume, still not enought when windows and sunroof are open. My '92 SE had a better BOSE system. I'm still debating whether the nav system is useful or a toy. It seems shoehorned in and having to do A/C controls on the screen seems an afterthought when they took the dash real estate away from the standard controls. I think the dash looks better without the nav system.
