HUB assembly are poorly made!!

This is a good little truck to get u from point A to point B ..The crew cab has little leg room for adults..I owned this truck since November 2018..This truck mpg is relatively good at 20mpg mostly..The back of the bed is pretty small for a truck unless u don't have alot to haul..The truck tows good but your mpg will drastically drop in performance..The complaint I have about it is the Hub assemblies!! I'm having to replace both front hub assemblies that are around 265.00 a piece at Autozone moog with 3yr warranty!! If you buy one at Rock auto you will pay around 140.00 a piece for a timken with 1yr warranty!! NAPA does not even carry them yet because the truck so new!! I did not get the bumper to bumper warranty because it was a ridiculous price..Nissan does not cover this either..I'm not paying 1,000 dollars for them to do it either..Anyways, besides that at 40,000 miles..this truck has get up and go..It is very economical and has backup camera USB ports bluetooth everything a new truck should have..The traction on this truck in woods in 2wd is not good though and will get stuck pretty easy. ALL IN all it's ok..It is about like driving a car with a short bed on it!! IF u wanting a truck for work, hunting, and fishing and hauling things..I would not recommend it..if u just need something to travel and to go back and forth to work..I do recommend it..If you pretty hefty person like myself you will not be comfortable on long rides!! OVERALL this truck needs a few upgrades, more cabin room better Hub assemblies for sure, bigger more comfortable seats and a standard swb bed!! As far as controls all that's good I have a silverado with a tire pressure monitoring system and i hate it..the batteries die every 5 to 10 yrs and have to be replaced or look at a low pressure light the whole time..Anyways that's whole another story!!

I bought a 2010 Nissan Frontier SE King Cab 4WD new, I put 80,000 miles on it and just traded it in for a new 2018 SV Crew Cab 4wd. I had ZERO problems with the 2010 truck. Everything worked on it.....BEST vehicle I have ever owned...period.

1. Extremly skittish on rd. Do not takes eyes off the road 1 second or will wander. Crazy idiot light (secure light) flashes on dash every few seconds with ignition off, key removed or not, doors unlocked or locked, windows up or down. What does the (secure light) signify? Nobody knows. If lock pu in the garage, pu doors automatically lock after a period of time so can not leave keys in ignition. Can barely hear alarm buzzer when head lights left on , key in ignition wih door open. Dealer says non fixable. Mickey mouse design.

I decided to spend a little more and get the Tacoma. Overall, I think I made a wise choice. Everything about the Frontier just felt average at best. Plus, Tacomas hold their value much better.

I just purchased a 2018 Nissan Frontier SV after checking out midsize trucks for about a year. I honestly can say that I made the best decision. I love the truck. I have the v6 and its only drawback is fuel economy other than that for the money and features you can't go wrong!
