Looks Good But Has Some Technology Issues
I have a 2018 black midnight edition and the truck has been reliable on city streets and in the mountains. But it does have some strange flaws: - When driving from Texas to Colorado, the check engine light always comes on about halfway there. At first, I thought this was happening b/c of the altitude or the cold air b/c it would also always turn off about half way home. In the end though, I have determined that it goes on b/c not all gas stations in the US offer 87. Sometimes you have to get 86, and that seems to make the engine a little nervous. I also think that speeds plays some role in tripping the gauge warning lights b/c it's most common to turn on when I'm doing 80 mph for sustained periods of time. - I have noticed some transmission-related issues. I'll be at a stop sign waiting for traffic to pass. Once it does, I step on the gas, but the truck doesn't move. After a few seconds of accelerating, it finally jerks and goes. Definitely not a good sign. - While the vehicle comes with Bluetooth, it doesn't always engage, and the only way to get it to engage is to turn the truck off completely and restart the ignition. This has been particularly annoying when I get a call several minutes into a trip but am not in a good position to stop and restart the car. (UPDATE: This issue has been a lot better since I updated from an iphone 6S Plus to iPhone 13 Pro). - Steering wheel has some quick access buttons to skip songs, turn up volume, set cruise control, and accelerate/decelerate. But it would be nice to have a play button on the steering wheel, too. - The storage compartment under the back seats aren't very useful b/c the plastic mold under it is very undulated and obtrusive. It would be nice if it was designed to fit a suitcase under there. - There's just no excuse for not including a factory installed roof rack. No excuse at all. - When the car was on the lot, I assumed it had auto lights b/c the sensor was in plain site on the dashboard. Turns out that the auto light functionality requires a different blinker handle set up (on left side of steering wheel), and that's kind of pricey. In this day and age, safety equipment like that should be standard, especially if Nissan wants to stand out amongst the heavy hitters in the truck industry. - My vehicle came with Hankook tires standard, but I had to switch to another brand b/c lately the steel banding inside the tires have come apart, causing the tires to concave in the middle, which results in a very bumpy ride and putting the driver in a serious blowout situation. - The USB port does not generate enough power to restart a dead phone. You actually have to charge it with the cigarette lighter port or it won’t ever turn on. This is an absurd missed flaw.

Lov My Frontier
My 2018 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab 4x4 is the great .I've had Chevy Colorado, Chevy Silverado and a Ford Ranger. I much prefer my Nissan. It may not be the fanciest truck out there, but it does the job that I want . Plus I've had no recalls on it. I got it used with 5600 miles on it. Its the long bed . The only con that I have is that the turning radius is the only problem and I love the fact that it doesn't have the start/stop button.( I've had friends with this type of vehicle that have forgotten to shut their cars down and have found them still running in their garages) I prefer a truck that turns on with the key and shuts off when you remove the key.

Big little truck!
I've had Full sized Ford and Dodge crew cabs before so I know what to expect from a truck. The SV 4x4 Nissan does everything I need to and its easier to maneuver around. only thing is sits lower and bed box smaller. But I'm not hauling as much so not an issue for me. I'm comfortable driving and still feel like I'm in a truck and it has some power when you need it!
