My armada is a beautiful car. the reliability of it is the worst. brake problems, and electrical problems that would never end. dealership would not stand behind it. not impressed with nissan now. I have a 2000 pathfinder.. that remains flawless.... what happened nissan??? try again. fix the mechanics and you will have a great car.. until then you lost my business. ps.. train your dealerships... Douglas of Henderson is a HORRIBLE place to buy a car... yo yo finance, lies, typical "used car" sales in a new car dealership. the worst car buying experience ever. From someone who loves nissan, a huge let down

Great vehicle. We bought this out of state and drive it on a 2000 mile trip immediately to take it home. I was skeptical at first due to some reviews posted here. I'm glad I decided to buy this. Overall much better than my 2001 Tahoe in drivability (Although I only had 1 problem in 3 years where the starter neede to be replaced). I looked at Toyota (Why do people like the interior of Toyotas so much? Just boring.) I think Nissan did an outstanding job on this vehicle. The only complaint I have is a few rattles.

Great Vehicle. I purchaed the LE which has many many standard features. The automatic liftgate and rear back up sensor are great additions. Very confortable, very well built except for the sunroof controls (very cheap looking). I was about to purchase a GMC SUV, but 3 of my neighbors who own one talked me out of it and I am glad I took their advice.

The vehicle drives great and is very comfortable. The second and third row seats are amazing. My cousin has an Escalade and the third row seats are uncomfortable and tight. My Armada is super comfortable in the third row seats. The second row is unbelievable. The amount of space is incredible. I'm very happy with my Armada.

The Aramda is the biggest and the best SUV in it class. It offers more standard features(Safety)than any of the other vehicles in it's class. I've tried the Ford's, the Lincoln's, the GMC's, Dodge's and the Toyota's SUVs and none of them stack up to the Aramda. The Aramda rides and handles like a smaller SUV and has great off- road capablities. It's fun to drive and it's very quick 0-60, I think around 7 seconds, none of the other competitors even come close.

Compared to Sequoia, Expedition and Tahoe, the Armada has more standard features, more power, drives and handles better, and is roomier. Nicest vehicle of all the large SUV's. All of that and it is the best priced.

The Armada is ergonomically perfect! The fit and feel of this vehicle far surpasses my expectations. All of the controls are within reach and the seats lay down. I love the fact that my rear door will open with the click of a button. I have never felt more stable on the road.ESPECIALLY in bad weather! I get tons of compliments and thumbs up from other drivers. The stereo is terrific and the cupholders have it all! This car has comfort and styling! I LOVE IT!

Have had mine about 2 weeks now and love to drive it, when I can get it away from the wife. So far we have had a squeak in the overhead console (intermittent), car came with the tires overinflated by about 10lbs each and finally I popped the hood for the first time and found the oil dipstick sticking out about 2 inches.. Mainly minor QC issues that should have either been picked uo at the plant or the dealer. All in all, you have to love the power and handling on this beast.

Just an awesome vehicle. I've been burned by domestic SUVs (reliability, resale, etc) and I have waited for Nissan to build a large SUV. Could not be happier. Has TONs of power and is more nimble that you would ever expect from a large vehicle. We get stared at at ever stop light and while the look may not work for everyone, it is unique and at least not boring and omnipresent like Tahoes, Expeditions, etc. I was a little reluctant to buy a first try from Nissan but so far I have been extremely satisfied and it was worth the wait. Glad I didn't wait longer...

Three days/three hundred fifty miles and it's exceeded expectations thus far. I purchased the leather even though the reviews were not favorable. I find the seats both supportive and comfortable. I did find a small screw pushing out from the side of the seat when I purchased. This was a little unnerving but I tested the seat thoroughly and have not had a problem. Gas mileage is what I expected. The steering wheel mounted controls/wireless headsets for the stereo and DVD have made driving more pleasant. Both family and friends have been impressed with the amount of room in the 2nd row. Acceleration and braking exceeded my high expectations.

we have only had this vehicle for a week now so our mileage is not high. It is very responsive and comfortable so far and has room to spare. Unlike other SUV models, this one has legroom to spare, even in the rear seats!! We have had another type of SUV before and this one beats it hands down for comfort. The other SUV did not allow you to stretch your legs out, therefore making it uncomfortable for long trips.

I love this vehicle! My family has had a lot of fun. It performs well. We have had no problems with reliability or anything at all that I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone shopping for a SUV. Lots and lots of room for familes and friends. It has more power than any other vehicle in its class and it tows our pontoon boat easily! It's a smooth ride and so fun to drive! You can feel the power!

Have owned Tahoes,Suburbans and a Sequoia. The Armada is an improvment. It has nice power but the trans shifting is vague. Ride and handeling are above avg. for something this big. Interior is comfortable enough but has lots of plastic. Bring your Exxon card, its thirsty, 13 1/2mpg. Great storage and cup holders. I wish Bridgestone had Revo tires this size.

Approaching 1000 miles and I am a very content owner. Great prowess. A 5.6L that delivers if you want that burst of speed. The price is a thirsty engine of course. I have taken it till 80mph with a surprising ease at just under 2000 revs. The exterior has a catchy bold look. The interior has space to accomodate any body stretch and is versatile enough to provide ample cargo room if needed. The one complaint I have about the interior, both seats and pannel, is that it is a tad tacky for the price. Other than that, this machine rocks! I would not go back to Mossy Nissan Houston TX though. Throughout, it was unclear who was supposed to be my dealer and each di

Big, Powerful, Roomy (I am 320 lbs @6'5") stylish, affordable, reliable, fun to drive, great service after sale, all the right bells and whistles, corners well and "feels the road." Worth looking at and test driving if you are in the $30,000 to $34,000 range and know you are buying from a reputable dealer. This bad boy is HOT and bigger that the Sequoya, Tahoe and Expedition but a littler smaller than the Surbaban. Check this one out. I did and bought it.

No issues at all with towing, even with our altitude here in Denver and over the Vail Pass, it was no problem. I would suggest this SUV to any of my friends and family.

Four months of driving and the front end shakes violently when you apply the brakes. Nissan says it is safe. As a mom, I say if it shakes don't drive it. Repair parts are in short supply. I love the room in this SUV. Great for a large family and all the required sports and school gear. Nissan is having trouble with the roof supports and some electrical systems as well. If your DVD system vibrates take it in before it falls off on to your kids. I am betting on this being a great vehicle in the long run. We should have waited for year two, so Nissan could work the 'bugs' out.

I love the exterior of the car and the bold styling. i enjoy the bose stereo with the 6 cd in dash. though i feel for an LE this truck should have better manners on the road. i recently took the truck into new york city and i felt going over bumps the truck did not take the bumps so well. you can feel the bumps way too much. i recently had a 2002 infiniti QX4 which just came off lease which drove much better than this armada. hopefully when the Q56 infiniti comes out it will have been built much better than the armada.

only have had for a week. The big v8 is really what a suv this size needs. It runs like a striped ape but look out the 13 miles to the gallon in the city is more like 9.I'm told by the dealer that will change as the suv breaks in. lets hope so.The bose's sound system is a big plus. lots of room for everything and everybody.I like this suv. Just not the gas mileage.

I traded in a '02 sequoia for my '04 armada. The armada drives like a sports car compared to the sequoia. It has a great deal of power and handling to match. Combine that with all the interior room one could ask for and great comfort and you, me in this case have a suv that screams road trip. The stereo could be better, but with the "aux" 1/8" stereo jack input and my ipod it is more than acceptable until it gets an upgrade. Thumbs up from this owner after 3 weeks of ownership, knowing that a suv of this size and power is just not going to get that great gas milage is just the price you have to pay to own it.

We have had this SUV for 6 weeks and love it! We did a lot of research first and knew that we wanted something that would get a 2nd glance, with a big a** engine, we made the RIGHT choice. 2005 will add a rear camera to navigation system, neat to have I would think, but not necessary as rear sonar is awesome.I have every option available EXCEPT 4X4, love all my bells & whistles, although I need about 6 more months to figure out all the gagets.I am hearing some vibrations on the freeway, around 70-80 mph, not 40-50 mph as most complain about.Seems to have something to do with the sunroof. Kids say the DVD screen "shakes" a lot at these same speeds.

I decided on the Armada after driving the Tahoe and the Expedition. I even had put a deposit down on the Tahoe and got it back and went with the Nissan. I like the 5-speed auto compared to the 4-speed. The gated shifter on the floor is great as well. The power is great, the styling unique, the interior room is 2nd to none in the class. The towing capacity is great as well. The Armada is everything you could want in an SUV.

After much research and test driving of several large and mid-size SUV's, our family decided to purchase the Armada. Absolutely no regrets!! After our initial trip through the mountains, we couldn't be happier! The Armada handles very well and is fun to drive. The kids have plenty of room and the vehicle looks great both on the inside and outside. Also, the BOSE stereo system Rocks!! While I bought this vehicle mainly for my wife to cart around the kids, I'll try to sneak in a few drives myself!! If you're looking for a big brut that the whole family will enjoy, this is the one!!

The steering is tight, after 7000 miles, already had alignment checked and corrected, replaced back windshield wiper motor, had left driver door electric window motor checked and told was okay (still stops working while closing the window and preparing it to take back into service, replaced back passenger door window due to air leakage through the window. The style looks sharp, leather color combo with exterior don't always seem to look good together. Had a hard time deciding on color because of this. I've taken several long trips (New Orleans and Orlando from Austin at seperate times), after several hours, felt uncomfortable driving.

It's a large truck but has a large turning radious.which makes turns a peice of cake. It has quick pick up and a smoothe ride. I'm surprised there's not more on the road. They're really not that expensive considering how spacious they are. They have more leg room then compartible trucks in there class. I just sold the Land Rover Discovery, Which it blows away.

It has many conveniences like the auto rear open door, programable seats, sun roof, DVD, and backing sensors. I love how it drives and feel very comfortable in it. The seat configuration is perfect for our family with all three having their own space. The second row side seats tumble forward easily allowing the passenger in the theater seating in the third row easy access. I have ridden there very comfortably myself. Yes, the gas mileage is dismal but I'm not sure for the size of vehicle I felt I needed I could do much better. The towing capacity is awesome. We pull a camper so towing was a priority as well as all the rest.

It's got the power. Smooth ride for a truck frame. Great looks. I've had plenty of esthetic problems. The passenger exterior mirror wasn't working, outside molding along bottom of window was dented, the gas filler door was loose, leather on steering wheel was scuffed. I believe the problems were dealer caused more than Nissan. I hope these problems don't extend into the engine/drivetrain/electrical. Overall, very satisfied with this SUV and would recommend it to a friend or relative. Just buy from a dealer other than Landers.

At 15K miles, has been in shop for warped front brake rotors, torn sunfoof visor, broken rear wiper, rear window washer leaking inside, A/C vent controls not functional, fastener cover missing on grab handle, and FOB's inoperable. Have driven on short and long trips - too many rattles, too much road noise, trucklike ride. Handles poorly in heavy rain - even in auto 4wd.

I bought the Armada to tow my boat. A little overkill since my boat and trailer only weights 3,500 lbs. The vehicle has had some initial minor repairs with the rear seat cable release jammed. In addition, they replaced the left rear axle since it would make a cricketing noise when loaded (acceleration). I noticed the noise when driving with windows down.

I hated removing my seats in my old car, they were too heavy and my wife never had a chance so the fold down flat rear seat and flip away second row are awesome. Haven't had it long enough to determine true milage but it averages over 14 I'll be happy, after all it's an SUV. Kids really enjoy all the room to get in and out. Step rail is positioned much better than the Yukon. The shifter down in the middle is very convenient for down and up shifting manually. Also like the smooth ride. It really absorbs the bumpy roads. The only bad thing is I have to share it with my wife.

First i would like to say i love this car! It is magnificent. It will do anything you ask of it. BUT. I have only put 5000 miles on it and I have already changed the brakes twice and the rotars once. If you are buying this car or currently have it, watch out for the PSI in the tires, i got mine with 50 PSI in them when they are only supposed to be at 35. I checked it out based on the complaints/reviews about the tire preasure from the reviews writen here! ANd the actual mileage on the gas is 8 MPG for city driving. Other then that, great!

Great solid running vehicle. Interior design, Engine & transmission beat all Toyota, GM or Ford products. Seems it was built by people who care about the customer rather than a committee turning out the standard dull American designs. Roomy rear seats beat any other SUV

Nissan could have done a better job of marketing this vehichle. All of the Armada's competition has some sort of financing incentive, it is hard to justify spending the amount of money on this vehicle when you could get a yukon with zero percent financing and similar equipment. The main reasons I bought the Armada over the Yukon; First reason was the safety features that it has over the yukon. The roll over protection is a big deal that none of the competition offers. Second; fold flat third row seating, there is way too much wasted space in the yukon and it is near impossible to get into the third row. Finally engine and transmission.
