Used 2008 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl CVT) Consumer Reviews
stay away
-Both head gaskets needed to be replaced at 62K -Metallic sound upon acceleration at 88K -New Basal vibration/sound when accelerating and decelerating Though Nissan would be trouble free...Cannot believe the low quality of this vehicle. Never Nissan again...

Most Uncomfortable seats ever
I have a 2008 Altima SE V6 and this is by far the most uncomfortable seats I have ever had. I downsized from a 2007 Infiniti M35 those seats were OK. Before I bought the Altima I had read several posts in Edmunds about uncomfortable seats on long drives and I should have listened better. It only takes 5 minutes and my back starts hurting. I do have back problems but this pain is different. It feels like there is no support in some areas especially left side. I have bought padded lumbar cushions but it did not help much. I would invest in custom seats if it would help but if not I am going take loss and get another car but what car in this class has superior comfort?

love my 3.5 se
3rd owner , got it with a bad bank 1 o2senser , was sold to me for 1500 , she didnt want to pay 1600 repair , i managed to remove the JB welded senser with out removing anything other than the throttle body , a trick i came up with , i of course had to weld a new one as opposed to replacing that manifold, use high octane and fuel treatment after resetting CEL. runs great love the car , paddle shift at 5000 rpm no problem

Made the Right Choice!
I shopped around for the past 8 months, trying to decide between the Camry SE V6, Accord EX V6, or the Altima 3.5 SE Sedan. I ran the numbers, test drove all three and made it a point to get opinions from owners of each of them. From all of my research, I finally purchased the Altima the other day and can say that I have made the right choice! This car is amazing, CVT is smooth as silk, engine has loads of power, interior quality is top notch and so far I am getting excellent gas mileage.
