I love my car and hope it can last for a while
I got this car for my 18th birthday and now am 26 still love this car. My Altima is a beautiful car in and out, it is comfortable and rides smooth gets excellent gas mileage. Exterior looks stylish one thing the car interior materials are aging too quickly as my armrest has a minor split and dashboard around speedometer too but those things don't bother me because all I want the car to do is keep running strong. Got the equipped model includes navigation system, heated seats, blue tooth and power moon roof includes rearview camera. I've done nothing but routine maintenance and replaced set of tires never a mechanical problem out of it only thing is CVT on these models are junk but other than it's a reliable car. Believe got my money worth really love my ALTIMA won't get rid of her until she gets tired of serving me with me taking excellent cared of her she might just try her best staying alive making me even happier know that I can go out in the morning and cranking her up off headed on highway. The car has a four cylinder is powerful got lots of comments it's a very stylish looking car would recommend buying a 07-12 model over 2013-14 models. Trunk space is huge could fit 6 suitcases without a problem this car is definitely built to last so equipped on everything. Just thankful that I bought a good reliable car these cars are so popular and reliable see them everywhere no wonder why they are best ever. Would buy another car from Nissan had a 1997 ALTIMA went 136,000 miles before retiring never a single problem reason bought another ALTIMA this one is best just some of material things aren't made well at least engine performs well hope can last 200,000 miles it's still running well purrs after taking off a sweet little car. LOOKING FOR A '16 MAXIMA NOW will update that review as well after purchase it all of my cars have been great. THANK YOU NISSAN!!!

3.5 SE nav, leather etc....
This is my second Altima, I had a 03 before, I used to be a honda man, but when the new 02 model come out it sold me, you get a lot more for your money, with the same reliability of honda and toyota. Test drove the new 07 and I was sold again this time we went for the 3.5 engine with the SE package and cvt tranny, there's a lot of options on this altima that you find on the higher end brans like infinity, Acura, Bmw etc. It just a great car to drive and to look. This is going to be the first car that I could love to write a check for each month.
Luxury for Less!
Just bought my brand new nissan altima 07 w/ cvt trans + sl package on 1/3/07. After over 10 weeks of intense research in this category...I finally made up my mind to go for this ultimate beauty! Top Reasons why: 1) cvt transmission - no stress over timing belts like the ones in toyota/honda 2) More of a car vs price you pay - intelligent key, push start engine, stylish front panel + lot roomier than toyota/honda & above all slick exterior design (makes me feel like I'm driving G-35 OR Lexus IS) 3) Handling is very responsive...performance wise absolutely fantastic there's NO NEED for V6 engine.
Overall Very Impressed
Purchased 3.5 SE w/CVT in November 2006. Cloth seats w/few options. Approximately 3000 miles on the vehicle now. I just took a long trip w/the vehicle over the Holidays (avg. 27 mpg on Hwy w/premium) so I was able to spend some extended time inside the car and here is what I've found so far. Very impressed with 3.5 and CVT combination. It's a blast to drive. My only complaint is that the transmission has a slight initial hesitation under hard acceleration. However, once the revs come up the car moves out. Brakes are awesome. On the other hand, seats are BAD on long trips, horn is more difficult to operate than it should be, and the interior has too many cheap looking/feeling parts.
