I bought my '03 Nissan new in 10/02 and now have over 130K miles on it, and still running strong. The maintenance has been minimal, and my driving style is not always easy on it. The acceleration is perky and my gas mileage is 27-28 on a daily basis. I've been driving it for almost 6 years and feel that it will last me a lot longer. The interior is a little on the cheap side, however it cost me $22-23,000 new, so who's complaining. Oh, and it's been paid for for 3 years, what a ride!!!

I have owned this car new since August, 2003 and there have been minor problems all except for the radiator tank cracking and having to be replaced. Minor problems like the hood support rod, whe I put it up to check the oil and snapped the rod into the holder under the hood, the hook part snapped off. Luckily the dealer had them in stock. This was int he cold weather so maybe it was the plastic got too rigiid otherwise I would have to hold up the hood by hand. Computer had to be reprogrammed twice after a recall. The original Continental tires stink and I finally got michelins after the second set of continentals. They only lasted 23k each set. 32 mpg on the highway using Cruise control!

Nissan seems to be working hard to try and overcome Honda and its other competitors. Offering more features standard than Honda and stylish body designs, the Nissan Altima appeals to both young and old. Spacious enough for the family or just a group of college friends, the Altima is open to a wide range of buyers. The 4 cylinder, 175 hp, S and SL models pack plenty of punch, but if that isn't enough for you they offer the 3.5L V6 250 hp SE model. Both engines offer more horsepower than the competing Accord and Camry, 150 and 157 hp respectively. The Altima is simply revolutionizing the mid-size sedan.

Fun Car Always Gets Head Turns

I've had the car for ten months now. Only two minor problems, both elctrical connections. This 4 cylinder engine does pack power. I still get people asking me how I customized it, I tell them I just bought it off the lot! There is some road noise (much more than the 3 Toyota's I've had) especially on concrete but I can live with it.

Just picked this up yesterday, and have already put close to 200 miles on it. This is absolutely the most fun car I have ever owned!! I am the mom of a 3 year old, and it fits an adult and 2 car seats in the back, as well as me (5'8") and my brother (6'4") in the front. Factory stereo is good quality- no Bose, but a nice sounding system, and the crystal blue paint with the side sills and splash guards gives this car a distincly not-your-average kindermusik mom look!!
