Not again !!
On my second sprinter, both 3500 dual rear cab and chassis with a service body, the first unit had multiple minor issues and then at 100k needed a catalytic converter and 3500 worth of work, the second unit needed a transmission at 55000, emissions work at 65000, and now 4400 worth of work to replace intake manifolds, the problem is very few places work on the mercedes and parts are expensive, I'm buying a ford transit now with the proven eco boost, I've had one for 3 years and has been a solid truck
Very dissatisfied.
I bought a 2019 Mercedes-Benz 3500XD cab chassis with a flatbed on it on December 30,2021. I was told that I was the first owner of the truck and it had 6,373 miles on it when bought it. I have had it for exactly three months as of today and it has been in the shop more than half that time. There is a front end vibration that they cannot get rid of. They found that the lower bolt on one of the links that connects the sway bar to the front A-arm was missing. They replaced the bolt, but have not been able to eliminate the vibration. It is better but not correct. It is only marginally acceptable. Now that that vibration has been reduced I can feel what seems to be an out-of-balance driveline. They missed checking this out the last time it was in the shop. The electronics in the dash failed and they replaced several parts of that. I still have the mileage recorder randomly resetting itself. Three of the cab lights were leaking and they were fixed. The throttle assembly was stiff and sticking and they replaced the throttle position sensor (TPS). There was a serious hesitation on mild to moderate acceleration. The dealer ship said they took off the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve (EGR), cleaned it and replaced. However, the Carfax update shows that they replaced the EGR valve. There have been five factory recall items that have been fixed and there is one recall item that is still outstanding. I am waiting to have it fixed. It has something to do with the vehicle's suspension, brakes or emergency brake system from what the service manager told me. They replace two of the three lids on the cargo boxes on the dash because they locked and would not open. There are several other things that I cannot recall right at the moment that have been repaired and I have forgotten. In the three months I have owned the vehicle, I have only been able to use it one time in my work. I lack the confidence that I need to take the truck across the US to pick up some equipment in ordered for my business. I am not a happy owner. If I had had any idea that this was what I was getting into I would never have purchased the truck.

Pretty pathetic
Pretty pathetic that Edmunds includes a review of an 11-year-old similar model under the reviews of the redesigned 2019 Sprinter, and factors it in the numerical average. Perhaps these reviews should be reviewed before publication. I like mine, no complaints so far.
Major Upgrade!
I sold my 2016 Sprinter and purchased this 2020 Sprinter as a replacement. Every day I am discovering more things to love about this van. The technology is light years ahead of the 2016 model. The 10” touch screen is a must, as are the steering wheel mounted controls. The adaptive cruise and other optional features usually offered only in passenger models, are now available for the Sprinter. Even the seats are much more comfortable. By far the best van I have owned so far.

Vehicle not trust worthy
Engine blew up at 9,358 miles. They go for 100's of thousands, could have fooled me. Do not know what model to select below but the unit is a Winnebago conversion. An boy is that another story. Nothing but issues with the Winnebago. Basically, the whole unit is a POS

Solid and economical - 4 cyl 2.0!
I've only driven my new van about 300 miles so this review is a bit early. Though I hate it on other cars, the safety features of automatic braking and lane management work very well. I also live in cold Wyoming and this van is producing heat from the ducts within 1 mile of my house! This is a pure cargo van with no luxuries in the back, but it is very comfortable to drive.

So good so far but the stereo sucks
I’m at 5,000 miles. Just changed the oil. Do not follow manufacturer’s 10,000 mile oil change guideline; change the oil every 5,000. Also, the stereo system has five speakers of which you can hear one; the middle one. The dealers know this but have no fix. I’m starting a case to get them to fix it. I think the other four speakers work but only at the lowest level but the volume control on works for the one, middle speaker. Mine is a 2019. There is a Sprinter Forum for owners, and they describe how they take apart stuff and solder stuff. And I’m thinking: why don’t these owners make the manufacturer fix them?! It’s kind of amusing, but really annoying
