The M350 is a solid car. It is a base 2wd model, but can pull my 17 ft center console boat with ease. The computer is nice, but it costs <$150 whenever you want to update the navigation maps. Nice trim and comfortable seats.

I purchased my 2013 ML350 from a dealership out in Texas as a one owner vehicle at 113k miles. I’ve driven the car up to 118k miles because of my near hour commute to work every day and my thoughts are as such. First the good things: more than adequate power for merging onto the highway and passing traffic, comfortable supportive seats, quieter cabin than rivals, fantastic tech for the year, command is snappy and easy to use, and more space than a majority of its rivals. Now for the cons and really there aren’t that many: Even though the car is super quiet in the interior, you do have a fairly rough ride if you don’t equip the car with the optional air suspension although the standard springs will save you money in repairs in the long run, and factory halogen headlights leave a lot to be desired but thankfully plenty of aftermarket kits to convert to led. Maintenance will be more expensive just a tad bit than a regular car but that’s par for the course with any German luxury vehicle. However there’s an advantage it has over its German counterparts and this thing will last significantly longer than its BMW and Audi rivals. (No shade for those cars because they are still each in a class of their own just like the Benz) Also consider that if you’re purchasing this for one of your teenage drivers at home, that this car was an IIHS Top Safety Pick for it’s year. Maybe just short of Volvo or evenly matched depending on who you ask. If you’ve got $10k-$20k to play with on your next car purchase, don’t go with a new cheap Nissan or Mitsubishi crossover just because it has a warranty. Buy this. It will last longer with care and will be a significantly more beautiful car and comfortable option.
