2025 GLC 300 Fear for Life

2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class GLC 300 4MATIC 4dr SUV AWD (2.0L 4cyl Turbo gas/electric mild hybrid 9A)

I leased a new 2025 GLC 300 AWD in October 2024, securing it while in a boat from Germany. I leave in a mountain town, three hours from the dealer. On the first drive, the radio and computer-related parts went in and out. Then, the computer wouldn’t load-forcing me to drive without knowledge of speed, phone pairing or Mercedes emergency contact. The system was rented at dealer and on the way home it happened again. They took the car for two months, first noting the wires didn’t connect and had to be replaced. Then, after that didn’t solve the problem, they installed a new computer. To do these repairs, the car had to be taken apart. All the while, I am leasing and making payments for a car I don’t have. I now have it back and the car jumps when stopped, strange messages appear in the screen. This car is a mess and Mercedes won’t take it back as AZ Lemon Law doesn’t include leases. Ironically, the car was suppose to go to a dealer in a state that does cover leased lemons. Mercedes is hiding behind a flaw when their vehicle is not safe to drive. After 5 Mercedes, I am crushed at their treatment and driving a car I have no idea is safe. Will the airbags deploy? Will my emergency system work when needed? Is the cruise control working or will go out of control.

New GLC-300 -AMG Line - horrible experience

The 2025 GLC-300 that was purchased in Dec 2024 has been the worst new car experience that I have had in over 30 years of purchasing vehicles. The vehicle has a gear grinding sound when the car is put in reverse and backing up and the local Mercedes service department cannot or will not look further into it. Also the MBUX infotainment and driver screens went completely black while driving the vehicle in heavy interstate traffic. A serious safety issue in my opinion that the Mercedes service department shrugs off as just needing a software update and that it can possibly occur again. I in good faith cannot recommend this car to anyone. Will never buy a Mercedes again with the issues that have occurred and the lack of service from the Mercedes dealership. I definitely thought Mercedes was supposed to be more customer service driven. Not in this case.

Interesting to read the other reviews. Guess I got lucky (so far) with my 2025 GLC 300 4matic with Exclusive trim. Have not had a single issue, drives relative smoothly and quietly and fuel economy has been good. Controls could be a little better, haptic and capacitors aren’t great for hvac and radio. Wife came out of x5 and it’s not as nice, but it was significantly less expensive and fit our desire to downsize. Tried new x3 but way too ugly inside.
