Love my GLC Coupe
Edit: Now approaching 27k miles and being 4 months away from 5 years of ownership, I still love this car. The only problem I’ve encountered was a clogged sunroof drain, which was taken care of easily. It has practically worn through the Goodyear tires that it came with so those will be replaced soon. Otherwise, all is good here! I bought my GLC Coupe about a year and a half ago and still love every moment in it! When I tell people what I have they often have no idea what it looks like, giving it a sense of rarity. I love the exterior and interior styling, and the infotainment setup is pretty easy to use. I look forward to keeping this car for at least 10 years and hope it’s good to me!

ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION?
This is the most incredible vehicle I have ever owned. Anyone who does not give this car at least a 9 out of ten either isn't paying attention, or works for a competitor. Sure, it would be better with 50 more HP. Show me a car that would not be. The good news is that, with most German cars, you can pay more to get more power without changing the overall personality of the car. But, it is a stylish, versatile, comfortable and satisfying car, by any measure. It is smooth and quiet. The entertainment system makes the cabin feel like a concert hall. I am one of those people who felt Mercedes took a downturn during the Daimler-Chrysler years. But, what ever happened in those days is not happening anymore. This is true Mercedes-Benz in the tradition of the best cars the company has ever made. Is the technology a bit complicated? Yes! But, it has multiple layers of control, meaning many functions can be controlled in several ways. So, once you find your preferences, it becomes very uncomplicated. I wish the car had Apple/Android car play, like my Porsche. But, it does everything else so well that the system's absence is hardly noticeable. The comfort is amazing. The MB-Tex seats are firm, yet not obnoxious. They look and feel like leather, but they will never stretch out, wrinkle or crack. In this day of cheap and annoying CVT transmissions, Mercedes specifies a silky-smooth 9-Speed automatic. Shifts are hardly noticeable. The car has a suite of safety features that protect the driver and keep he or she aware of what is going on. If this car has a weakness, it might be rear visibility from the driver's seat. But, the advanced camera package takes care of that. The car is just the right size. And, I love the styling, even in base trim. I saw it at the NY Auto Show and immediately bought one. I could not see any car on the floor that would meet the needs of a car enthusiast who can't just look at performance. When the seats are folded down, the cargo space is cavernous. While you may sacrifice some space with the fastback design, it isn't that much. And, when you buy a GLC Couple, you probably aren't looking for a truck. The added style carries with it a cost, in terms of reduced cargo space. But, is not a big factor. Comparing this car to a BMW X-4 is not even fair. The X-4 is a great car. But, it is more expensive, and lacks refinement. It is also not as comfortable. I have owned a 188 cars since 1970. Lots of premium logos. And, I would bet that this Mercedes will prove to be my favorite. You can listen to the so-called experts nit-pick the car. But, get in one and drive it for a few weeks and you will agree that this car is destined to be one of Mercedes Benz best ideas ever. It is the kind of premium car that should have been built 20 years ago. I love Audis, BMW's and Porsches. But, I would choose this over any of their highly competent SUV's or SAV's. Style and character still go a long way with me. The Mercedes-Benz GLC300C4 is a competent vehicle that does more things better than any car I have owned. Let's just hope the reliability factor is in sync with the obvious build quality of this car.

Ignore the haters
This car is beautiful. And it is VERY quiet and soft ride. The negative review posted that same thing on many pages. I have not had that experience with this car. This car is perfect for those of us who need a small SUV but don't wanna look like soccer mom.

Head turner
This is the coolest vehicle I have ever owned. It is both sporty, firm, but also comfortable. Mine is black with cranberry and black seats, sleek and easy. As a friend once said to me, "you drive a BMV, but a Mercedes drives you". This is a solid vehicle and I think i will be driving Mercedes for years to come. I drive a lot for my business, and no reason not to drive in comfort.

2019 GLC300 Coupe w/AMG line
It’s a great car and way more value that you might expect. Luxury and performance plus great looks. We’ve had a number of SUV models, but this is the first “coupe” fastback version. Should have bought one a long time ago. It’s a fine car with all the capacity we need. Who ever fills the uppermost rear corners of their SUV square back cargo area?????

Fast and Feels Exclusive
I purchased this car new and have had it for about 1 year. I can’t find the words to say how happy I am with the car. It’s fast…. Boy is it fast. The first time you launch control it, you better be ready. If you are coming from a car with “regular” horsepower in the 200-300 range, you will need to get used to the 500+ horses. The 63s Coupe is a bit of a unicorn. You don’t see too many AMG GLCs and the 63s is super rare. When you do see one, it is typically a GLC43. Be prepared to have cars want to race. Be prepared to have people come up and ask what engine is in it as you park the car and they hear the wonderful sound of the V8 engine. The “emotion start” is a beautiful sound too. If you want to hear the car in it’s full glory then put it into race mode and put the transmission into manual. Lifting off the gas in the 4-5K RPM range releases a symphony of pops and burbles that still make me giggle a year later. The ride isn’t as comfortable as the regular GLC, which is to be expected when riding on 21” low profile rims and tires. The ride is still very nice in all of the various suspension settings. My car came with the Pirelli P-Zero tires, which are very sticky, but have the shortest life span of the available tires. I will be replacing the tires soon. I’ll get about 15K miles out of them, which isn’t bad given the type of tire. I’ll put on Michelin Pilot Sport 4 A/S, which should get closer to 45K miles. I purchased one of the last batches of V8s for this series. It came at a cost. Due to supply chain issues, there are a few features that should have been standard that I didn’t get. Even without the features, I still love the car. The augmented reality camera wasn’t available so Track Pace and augmented navigation aren’t on my car. There are a few other features as well, but overall the car is still very nicely optioned and luxurious inside. My wife thought it was a bit much when I told her I wanted this car, but she admitted the other day while driving it…. Your car really is a lot of fun to drive!

Lifes Dream
The vehicle has almost all of the bells and whistles that Mercedes Benz had to offer when I took the vehicle home from the dealership. The vehicle is comfortable, rides like a dream and continues to please every day. Other than some minor software issues that one usually gets when getting a brand new vehicle, the dealership went above and beyond to make everything right. The advanced safety features that the car has are superb, and the heads up display allows me to keep my eyes on the road. I am so pleased with this vehicle, I may purchase it when my lease ends. Why change when I am happy with this vehicle. I am still pleased with the vehicle and did purchase it when my lease term was up.
