Fast, Stylish, the happy marriage of sport/sedan
I went from a 2016 cla 45 to a 2020 cls 53 amg and couldn’t be happier. I weighed all of my options before upgrading between many amg models 53, 63, the GT etc. I needed a daily driver but like my cla one that was still quick, fun to be in, all wheel drive/4 matic (I live in New York, winter can be tuff lol), stylish with coupe like features and just an overall joy to own and be in. The 2020 CLS hits all those markers half coupe half sedan with an attitude; she’s fun drive, quick from the start and can also be comfortable and quite (dynamic select). I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences with Mercedes and worked hard to earn every dollar to be able to afford in my opinion such a luxury. Can you put your 6 foot friend in the back seat yeah is it a tight fit yeah but I don’t buy my cars for the comfort of others. I buy them for me! Take care of your car and she’ll take care of you (service appointments, oil changes, etc). If you want the best of both worlds; power, performance, luxury, comfort, speed, 4 matic, daily driving but totally worthy of bringing her to the track for a little fun then the CLS is for you. Fast enough to get in trouble, comfortable enough to drive daily or support your family yet not to fast your life insurance policy goes up lol then the CLS is a no brainer. This is obviously my opinion but I’ve been a proud and happy Mercedes Benz owner now for 5 years and smile every-time i open the man-door to my garage and see my beautiful 2020 cls 53 waiting for me :) life is great work hard play harder. Many best wishes to health, success and happiness to all.

Rolling Technology Display
Just leased this car after previously leasing a 2016 CLS400. Huge leap ahead. Other than seats that are too aggressively bolstered for a everyday sedan, I love this vehicle. Best parts are an amazing powertrain with effortless and endless power, beautiful interior, great stereo and safety features and a 5th seat. Technology isn’t always intuitive but learning curve isn’t steep. Truck shrunk a bit as well from the last generation. It may not have a ton of personality as most cars are just snout perfect nowadays but it’s truly a fantastic vehicle I’d recommend to anyone and makes a great family vehicle for my wife, me and our 2 year old.

Classy car
If you are looking for a car that brings a bit of excitement to you every time you approach it, this is your type of vehicle. Aside from great lines and looks, it is smooth, quiet, luxurious and sporty at the same time! A pleasure to drive!
Love my 2019 CLS 53
I love love this car and I traded a 2016 Bentley V8s convertible for it. My car is matte selenite grey and one report said it is difficult to care for. I generally wash it my self and it is the easiest car I’ve ever had to keep clean. If the wheels are clean the car alwa6s looks clean no matter how dirty I might be

2020 CLS 450C
My 2020 CLS-450 is loaded. Only options I don't have are soft-closing doors and AIRMATIC. Wish I did. The car has 19 inch wheels and run-flat tires. The steel spring suspension can not be adjusted and is too stiff. The car is uncomfortable over bumps and pothole repairs. Lots of noise when the rear wheels go over a pothole repair. This is not what one would expect from a model year 2020 car with an MSRP at $93,000+. The original Continental tires that came with the car are the worst I've ever had. The tires are down to wear limits at 15,000 miles. The car has been mostly driven on local roads using the Steering assist, Distronic and Economy mode, which is 'very kind' on the tires. Part of the problem is that the car has staggered wheels that can not be rotated, which results in more wear. One may question the sanity of MB to put staggered wheels on a car that is not designed nor intended for racing. That plus low quality runflats. Obviously not in the customers' best interest. Other than that, the car is OK.

Mercedes CLS 450 matic
Love the fit and finish , surprisingly fast in sport + mode. Refine handling and comfortable ride.
Great Car
Just got mine Certified pre owned not long ago. Got a loaner from MB for a 2023 E350 and must say the E is super disappointing in comparison. I don't love the new infotainment and the 350 engine feels so slow after driving the CLS450. My car is almost new so we'll see how much I still love it after 50k miles

All around stunning vehicle
This vehicle does not disappoint. Between the interior, exterior, performance, fuel economy, user interfaces, and amenities, this vehicle is all around exceptional and lives up to every expectation one would have.

Like Driving a Cloud on Fire
The 2022 CLS 450 is a stylish , well appointed and amazingly tech savvy car . It drive so smooth it is like driving a cloud . The seats compensate in turns , the safety features keep you from making a mistake but most of all the MBUX Voice Control system sets Mercedes Benz apart from other cars in its class - when I need directions I just ask Mercedes to take me to a good Italian restaurant , or tell it the address and it downloads directions, I can ask the car to make a phone call, give me a massage, change the lighting - you get the idea - I have owned Porches and Lexus and not until now have I experienced true luxury in an automobile. The Con for this car has been caused by the chip shortage - I ask for a rear window sun shade option - not available , Dash Cam and Air balance options not available , a couple of standard feature were lost as well like hands free trunk opening and Navigation's Augmented Reality - even with these loses - this car is a 5 star purchase - Please check with your dealer - lost options are a variable depending on when you order your car - probably the later the better - I ordered my car in August 2021 - the height of the chip shortage problem After one year - the only thing I can add to the above is that to my surprise I am using the massage feature about 50% of the time when I am out and about - very relaxing and I just say " Hey Mercedes" how about a massage - can't get easier than that.

Rolling Art
This car is special and driving one is a treat. You can't help but to smile every time you look at it. Is it overpriced? Yeah probably, but what isn't these days. You pay for what you get.
Loved the entire deal...
So we were vacationing our our mountain home in the mountains of North Carolina and the Edmunds review site got us interested in what I consider Mercedes' most beautiful, the " four door coupe" CLS. I had bought an E class 450 wagon to haul the dogs in 2019 and had almost bought from a dealership in Ft. Mitchell, KY. They were very active on internet. This time we found a '22 " certified" used CLS that was loaded with all the goodies. Long story short, we negotiated a great price, including a trade, and they delivered the vehicle to our door in Linville, N.C. and picked up the Caddie trade-in. We loooove it! Jeremy at dealership has been great. They've provided a couple hours of person-to-person tutorials with us to answer all questions about the technical wizardry of this car. Thanks Edmunds of excellent review.

Too many electrical issues
I acquired a 2022 CLS 450 in 2022, and unfortunately, I've encountered electrical issues. Within the first year, I had to replace the V48 battery, and in the initial month of ownership, the vehicle's box needed changing. Despite attempting a buyback with Mercedes, they insisted on persistent issues to qualify. My prior experience with a 2019 model was trouble-free, and I find the new technology in the 2023 version problematic. Technicians have been unable to pinpoint the issue so far.
