2024 Mazda CX-90 Consumer Reviews

Drives like a Champ!
We purchased the PREV model as we wanted a larger SUV for occasionally hauling larger groups, and for carrying wine cases from our winery, and for the occasional road trips. At the same time we wanted spirited driving as we are coming out of an Audi. Lastly we wanted to do our part from an environmental perspective so getting good gas mileage was important as well! Our CX 90 has checked all the boxes and delivered on them as well! I read some reports on early production recalls however our late year production model has been flawless! Lastly - this vehicle looks great as well!

not the best choice for me
I like the acceleration, the AC, the seat blowers and that many of the controls are push button, not screen. I don't like the radar stuff. The vehicle decides where it will drive, when to use the brakes, how fast it will go when using the cruise control (slows down if coming up on a vehicle before you can change lanes), beeps at you constantly in heavy traffic and the foot activated tailgate opener opens the tailgate when going over steep road entry from parking lots (tailgate is broken now from the time it happened).

Pleasant Drive Smooth Ride
It's a little sportier than the 2021 Honda Pilot Ex I trade it in for. The Cabin is quiet in the highway and the ride is smooth. I'm looking forward to getting a better MPG for practically the same size as my previous vehicle.

Wonderful Car so far
What a fun car to drive. The electronics are a bit intimidating but easily learned with a little time. My only apprehension is getting the new PHEV. I’m hoping it is built as well as my other Mazda. With a 96 month warranty on that part of the car I feel comfortable

Decelerates while driving
This car is dangerous. It should be recalled. After owning it for 2 days it decelerated from 65mph to zero within a few seconds and left me stranded on the freeway. They gave me a loaner that was the same as the original and that one also suddenly decelerated on the freeway! This time it went from 65 to 44 and then suddenly started accelerating again so I wasn’t stranded but it was so dangerous and scary!! I’m not ever driving a Mazda again. We are currently working with them to get our money back.
