2025 Mazda CX-70 SUV Consumer Reviews

Nice big SUV with a possible downside
Ok, we wanted a larger SUV after losing our Genesis GV70 in a house fire. So, we decided on a 2025 Mazda CX70. So, nice looking (check), spacious interior (Check), plenty of storage (check), powerful enough (check), handles well, (check) . Then the designers got to seats, uh oh, they seemingly designed those to fit what must have been, their little 145 lb. bodies? Bottom line, (pun intended), half my right leg seems to rest mostly on the inside, very steep right bolster. The designers in their infinite wisdom, apparently felt it was more important to have a wider console, in lieu of wider seats. Before anybody thinks I'm the size of a Sumo Westler, well I'm most definitely not and have never had a problem with any seats in any car before. So, I guess I'll just be squirming down the road trying to get comfortable until we sell this puppy. I'm already dreading any trip. BTW, my wife is tall, about 140 and thinks the seats are fine, Wonderful ! she can always drive. If you're a larger, typical American, the CX70/90 may not be for you. I definitely made a mistake, Only three stars, based on the seats.

Nice ride
Roomy, luxurious and responsive. Still hoping Mazda will integrate n interactive touch screen and improvements can be made with the menu screen. Constantly having to go back to channel selection in the entertainment is a pain. It should be more simple to change your music selection. Overall impressive engineering and a bit more expensive than I'd like.

Upscale SUV without the upscale price
We wanted a new midsize SUV and found most to be way too pricey. The CX-70 looks and feels very luxurious and priced thousands less than it's compatension. You will find a few things that can be better (storage in center console being one). And I would like to see a sporty exhaust at the rear.

Well dressed Zoom Zoom!
Love our new CX-70. Beauty is in the eyes of the viewer and I think it is beautiful. Everything is as expected, quiet, comfortable sporty ride, plenty room. Personally, I like the infotainment setup. One minor con I hope Mazda addresses is a bit of hesitation during slow, rolling starts.

Fabulous SUV
I’ve had my 2025 CX-70 for 3 months and already put 8,400 miles on it. Fabulous ride, comfort and performance. Averaging 29 mpg. Have had a couple of technology issues, but nothing serious and dealer has been great in trying to track down the issues.
