Been driving 10 RX vehicles since it's introduction in 1999. Loved every one of them. Fell in love with NX and bought two for my wife and myself. Lexus has done it again. Absolutely the best of everything, period.

Newest addition to the LEXUS crossover/SUV fleet. Bought a 2016 and keep finding myself saying, "This car is perfect." It's not for those wanting V6 power, but NX is always ready to run. Very agile, superb electronics, flawless interior, great ride over heavy frost heaves, quiet, and will in a few years will be outselling its big brother RX. Not because RX is lacking, but because NX offers so much while also handling far better than RX and costing about $8,000 less at base MSRP.

At 11:00 a.m my husband, my older brother, and I went to the Lexus dealership to purchase a base model RX 350 (which is my dream car). We drove it around to see if everything is great. After a long day and looking at all this beautiful luxury cars and it was all set for me to go home with the RX 350. For some reason my brother saw that car (NX) and he said that he would buy that car instead of the RX 350 because it's nice, sassy, and has an aggressive looks to it. It is not common as the RX. So, guys trust me----- I finally made my mind and choose the NX200t car fully load it. And, since I never seen that model before it is so BEAUTIFUL BOTH INSIDE AND OUT. All I can say is wow, wow, wow, and WOWWWWWWWWWW. I finally applaud my brother in helping me choose that car it's a new model and it's great. I only have a family of four (my hubby, and my two little girl (3 months and 3 years old) so, it is perfect size for us. LOVVEEEEE IT :-) I am sorry guys I just can't help it. This is my total dream car :-).

Final Catch After Chasing Many

I had been looking for a mid-size SUV with an engine lower than 3 Liter. I looked at Toyota Hiighlander (too big for two of us with 3.5 Liter engine and too big for us with a 2.7 Liter engine which would have to work hard to drive the same size vehicle as 3.5 Liter). I also looked at 4 Runner, Ford SUV's, Acura (too expensive with transmission problems) and Mazda (just sold one). I did not even know that Lexus has a new NX200t (Turbo) model. I was looking for a 350 (again too big an engine for these days with new technology of getting the same performance from smaller engines). It was a coincidence that I ran into my NX200t and realize what a catch it is.

Would Not Buy Another NX - Update Aug 2018

I own and drive a 2010 RX350, which we bought new. We got our 2015 NX, fully loaded, when it hit the market. While it seems to be a well built vehicle, it dramatically lacks the plush ride of my RX. Lexus changes to Yokohama tires and while I can't say the issue is the tires, the ride of the NX is horrible. I have played with the air pressure, but nothing helps. Also, if you want any zoom in your driving, you have to put the NX is Sport mode, our you will be seem to be beating a dead horse to get this little SUV to move. We also have an very inoying rattle coming from the rear view mirror, which can not be adjusted for anyone 6 ft or taller, plus we had to remove the head rests from the back seats in order to see out the back window. This is a luxury grocery getter, but if you plan to make any long trips, spend a little more money and buy the RX. Update as of Aug 2018 - Lexus fixed the rattle, but can’t say the ride has improved. The NX is now AWD, which would make it attractive to anyone living in snow country. I am waiting on the Yokohama tires to wear out so I can replace them with Michelin tires. Lexus loaned me an NX with Michelin’s when my NX was in the shop and what a difference it made in the ride of the NX - so if you purchase one, ensure you get one with Michelin tires, or you will be disappointed.
