Great little car
The review in this article is very different than my own experience. Driving in eco mode the car is nimble and quick, much more so than an Prius I have driven. The over all driving feel is that of a car with a manual transmission. The steering does feel a little lose at time and the car feels very ‘light’ as well- more like a Honda Civic than a CRV. But, for getting around town and the occasional stint on the hiway, this car handles very nicely with good pickup and passing power. I almost never put this in sport mode as it seems unnecessary. Not loaded with bells and whistles or a tone of creature comforts, my Niro hybrid touring model seems to be a well designed and practical hybrid. Much more fun to drive than other hybrids I have tried.
Quality Hybrid
This small car has plenty of space inside and ample headroom. Overall a quality build with great features except no motorized lift gate option that many competitors have. Compact size and reasonable handling although ride options a little stiff with no alternative drive modes. Overall great car with excellent mileage performance.

Climate control can die
This car gets 543 Mpg and I've had it for 3 years now. But I no longer trust Kia. After 80k miles the tech in the car has begun to act weird; the windows, the touch screen, and THE CLIMATE CONTROL!!! omfg the light to indicate its on is never own and the climate control turns on by itself! I went to get it fix and its no longer covered after 60k miles. No kia isn't going to pay for it. Im sick and done with kia. other than that I've taken this car off-road, from California to new york and back. Its a good car other than that but its annoying
