Used 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Consumer Reviews
Help
Have this JGC with over 100,000 miles runs great but today while driving all the gauges went on and off the rpm dropped to 0 but the car didn't stop or decrease in speed.
Great SUV
The fit and finish of this Jeep is remarkable. I thought I would not spend this type of money on a Jeep but this Jeep was worth it! I never thought that a Jeep could ride like a luxury car. Power delivery is so smooth that you must keep an eye on the speedometer in order to stay within the speed limit. If I had the extra funds, I would buy a second one.

Love to drive my Jeep Limited Hemi----
Love that SUV. I own a BMW 330ci and 540M Sport and choose my Jeep in the morning to drive to work. I tested several SUV's and picked this one because of its handling (especially), power, looks and options for the price. Love the way it feels on the road. I travel for work quite a bit. I like the Bluetooth Technology, love the stereo. I am truly impressed with this car. Anyone looking for an SUV must test drive this one. Gas mileage stinks, "but who cares" when this vehicle is so much fun to drive.
2005 Grand Cherokee
2005 Grand Cherokee, purchased used 2006 w/ 29,000. Was fine until 35,000 and the Tranny Blew! Heard about it, read about it and then experienced. Love the ride, the storage, but can't get past the transmission problems. Would like to buy another Jeep, but can't forget the burn it gave me the first time. Sorry can't recommend, unless you have $3,000 for a Transmission.
Solid car, happy buyer & owner
At 5k miles and glad I went with the Grand. I had also looked the 4Runner and the Pathfinder and had made the decision to go Nissan until Jeep offered incentives that brought the Ltd. Grand with V8 in cheaper than the high end Nissan. Overall, I'm very happy with the car. It's a pleasure to drive. Though somewhat boat like at times in its billowy suspension response, that's a plus for me though as this is going to be a baby hauler. Soft=good. The MDS system is seamless but hasn't had as much of impact on MPG as advertised and can be stingy to give back the V8 when in a pinch to accelerate. Interior is plush & comfortable and gets an undeserved bad rap in reviews.
