Please DO NoT purchase Jeep Grand Cherokee L!
Three weeks after purchasing the grand cherokee L, steering wheel was stuck and car left me at a parking lot at night, it was towed and was told at jeep dealer that it needed an update that did not exist. Made my third car payment before supposed update finally came out. Was about 1.5 maybe even 2 without driving the car. When it was supposedly fixed, the accelarator or abs gave me issues. Was driving and instead of speeding when i stepped on gas, it slowed down, good thing Inwasnt in the highway. Went on side of road, turned car off and on and was able to drive slowly through town to a jeep dealer who said it was abs issue after reading the error code. Left car over night and was told that while the update was being made last time, it messed up the abs. Fast forward, car was fixed and I drove off in it. 4 days later, same thing happened again. Both issues very dangerous mechanical problems, both of which could have caused very serious accidents on a highway, not to mention, there was a headlight recall that was also fixed. I must also mention that one day during a rainstorm, I was terrified because I could not see from my side view mirrors because the wilers are so big that when it pushes the rain to the left side of the car, it forms such a heavy stream of water that it completely blocks visibility. Its as if a water faucet was being poured down the mirror. This vehicle is nice looking and comfortable inside, space-wise but such a horrible car to buy. I could not encourage you enough to stay away from it!

Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited at 2 Weeks and 1K mi
My experience so far is very positive with no problems except for a malfunction of the “assist” and “SOS” buttons. The buttons worked at first and then stopped. Jeep support is working on (firmware update) it and I understand that it is a problem that many are experiencing. The vehicle is incredibly solid, quiet and smooth like no other I have ever been in. The Uconnect is very powerful and well designed. The learning curve wasn’t long at all for me. The JGCL provides exactly the kind of comfort and performance that I was looking for. I would definitely recommend this vehicle to a friend.

Bought in November been at the dealership 5 times
***UPDATE*** The car never got better. More issues continued to pop up. 4WD and active lane management randomly would stop working and our car died again. Went to arbitration with FCA and was denied a buy back because I hadn't taken it to the dealership for the same issue enough times. Didn't want to wait for more issues to continue to pop up so got rid of it. Please do not buy this piece of junk. ORIGINAL REVIEW First breakdown was at 500 miles. Car died and the rear door module had to be replaced. Have taken it back for 3 recalls. This last time may be the last. A bunch of electrical issues like Bluetooth not connecting, wireless charger not working, remote start, SOS and assistance buttons not working and the alarm goes off even when the key is in the car. We're in contact with Mopar because all these issues are ridiculous. DO NOT BUY.

Jeep quality control has gone to Hell
DO NOT BUY THIS CAR. I am the owner of 6 previous Jeeps and have never had any issues. I am very happy with my 2015 Wrangler and the 5 previous Grand Cherokees that I owned. All of that good will is gone. I purchased my Grand Cherokee L(emon) in August, I started having problems the first week I had it. All sorts of radio and control panel issues due to software bugs. I was told Jeep was aware of the issue and the software upgrade was 2 months away. Thanks for selling me a product that they knew the problems existed. I guess full disclosure is dead. A list of faults follows: The start / stop warning indicator goes on, the whole center console, radio and heat controls are inoperative. The radio / control panel whole unit was replaced and problems still exist. Adaptive cruise control and headlights are intermittently unreliable Transmission sensor failed, could only shift manually Car has ongoing alignment problems, it's been in 4 times and the problem still exists. There are more problems, too many to mention. On top of all this Jeep gave me permission to rent cars while my car is being serviced for which I would be reimbursed. Jeep owes me $4400.00 in fees and it's been over 4 weeks since I paid, I have received no checks and the FCA rep has not returned my calls for 2 weeks.
Grand Cherokee l limited 4x4 3 problems
My mom had purchased a 2021jeep grand Cherokee l 4x4 limited and after 3 days she realized that the seatbelt on any adjustments was right on her neck rubbing.2 weeks later she tried to unlock her car with the keyless entry and out of the blue it wouldn’t unlock. It took her 4 tries to unlock the car then she finally used the keys.Last problem so far has been the speakers. Her car is equipped with the standard limited speakers and her speakers have made a pop sound 4 times now.She has had 2 Jeep Grand Cherokees before this 2017 and 2019 altitudes and never had any problems. For her to go a step up and yes this is a completely new grand Cherokee, this shouldn't be happening for spending the extra money to go a step up.
