Jeep and more
The best option if you want a truck and a jeep. Rides like a jeep and can haul like a truck. The best bet for anyone who wants both options. Gas mileage is good, I didn't buy it for fuel savings.

Triple win!
It's a truck, it's a convertible...it's a Jeep! Win win win! Mine handles great! I enjoy the heat package on chilly days. Yes, I've used heat package going topless. Although, I do wish its back seat heat/cooling was designed more efficiently. Once in awhile on the highway, my soft top makes a funky noise, but not often. My mpg around town is 17. On a couple of trips to SC, I got 26.9. Being a midsize truck, it doesn't have the room my full size 4dr Ram had, but I work with it. On trips, I've tented the rear seat a few times and slept there and was relatively comfortable. I do like the storage under seat the rear seats and that they're 60/40 split. Haven't found a good fitting, reasonable priced rear seat cover package though. I'm hoping to get a folding bed cover to keep bed usable in snow/rain. I've done a little bit of "seasonal" off roading, it did very well even though I still have the puppy stock tires. I wish beefier tires were standard. Overall, I'm lovin, and enjoying my Jeep!

Great off road, soft top bad on highway
Having never been in a Jeep, I expected some wind noise. The wind noise and rattling top was excessive. To be fair, was very windy driving across NM into north Texas. It rattled so much that driver side roof latch disengaged when driving 70. Had to emergency stop so the entire soft top didn't rip off. Truck has only 10k on it. Plus you feel intense heat from roof. AC can't keep up with the radiating heat. If you buy one, recommend the hard top, or at least the premium soft top. But it's fantasy off road. The seats need to allow more leg room if your tall. The bed is perfect size. I like it overall, but not the soft top on the highway.
