disappointed
We are a very busy family who needs reliable transportation. Within the first months we had taken it in for seat belt defects, seat problems, and a whistling noise. Warranty is only 36,000. Due to busy schedule we did not get it taken in and found it has a major water leak. Every time it rains we end up with a flooded floor on the drivers side. This has been a known defect and the dealership refuses to fix the problem because we are over our mileage warranty. We still have the whistle which we did take in for. Also the fabric seats get water stains that are not easily removed. We will NEVER buy another Jeep or Chrysler product again. They do not stand behind their product quality! FORD ROCKS!
Okay
I have owned the Jeep since Jan 06. At first loved it.It is the 3rd Jeep Ive had. Drove it with 4 adults and 2 kids on a 1000 mile 8 day road trip twice with no problems. Overall, I like the Jeep The biggest problem is that it has started to leak. I actually had standing water in my floor. Had to go a week befor they could get me in to fix had to ride with the stinky bacteria growing under me. yuck. The seat will stain with water, the windshield whistles, the middle console cubby needs to be more accesable, power adapters in middle row would be nice. The material on back of third row seat wears fast with storing everything in it.

Can't get right
Wife and I traded in my Rodeo after being run off the road by the Police during a snow storm. Vehicle handled great but the whistling noise cam in about 2mts after purchased. The dealer fixed the problem. 3mts back for the same problem. 3mts later same problem, dealer said it was the windshield wipers being too light, so I changed to duel wipers and it reduced the noise but it is still there. Truck wouldn't start wife took to dealer, said it was the battery while there they found it had a leaking exhaust manifold gasket, dealer wanted $800 to fix. Can be fixed for less and vehicle is in the shop as I type. Vehicle does have elect issues with tire gage. Stitching loose in rear seat.
Needs more room
I think this is good vehicle but It could use some improvements. Mainly the back seat does not have enough leg room. I am a fairly big man and found the vehicle to be cramped for my children if they're riding in the back seat with me in the car. The drive of the car is outstanding. I had a larger SUV before this one and the Jeep drive just the same if not slightly better.
Noah's Ark
I was happy to read that other owners have also heard the "whistling sound" & that I wasn't just imagining it. My biggest complaint is that water seemed to be sloshing around in the roof after every rain. We couldn't find any wet spots, but the car smelled like mildew. Recently I got in it after a hard rain only to find 4 inches of water sitting on the passenger side floor board! Later that same day water poured out of the ceiling, ran down the windshield & right into my driver side dash speaker!
