Beautiful and safe
I am in love with the Hyundai Santa Fe vehicles they are safe and sexy looking. They have plenty of extra features and very easy to learn and love.
Great suv
Always drove Subarus “11 to be exact”. Bought a MB 300 glc. Found that it was too small to carry all my gear. Decided to go in a different direction and bought a Santa Fe sel fully loaded. Great move, the options on this car are fantastic. It drives like a dream, smooth ride, good drivers view, and tons of room for the dog and yeti and all the other junk my wife has to take back and forth to Florida. At 10 grand less than the glc 300 this suv is a real bargain and in my opinion a much nicer vehicle. My only regret is that I didn’t buy the limited

Windshield Problem
Purchased my '21 Santa Fe on May 3rd but it was manufactured in Dec '20. Three weeks and 600 miles later the windshield cracked while driving in traffic. During purchase, the dealership's finance department advocated for a separate insurance policy for windshields and key replacement at a cost of $733. I never had heard of this before, but gave in to the sales pitch and purchased the insurance. Now, the windshield has been on order from a nationally recognized windshield repair shop since early June, and recently has gone on nationwide backlog with no estimated delivery date. I called the local dealership in July and was told by a parts department employee that most of the windshields were arriving damaged to the dealership. After the initial damage which starts on the bottom driver side corner, the crack continued to spread upward about 14 inches (slightly lower then midway) then turns horizontal and goes across to the passenger side and then turns again down toward the passenger bottom corner. There's about three to four inches left to crack before the outer windshield becomes two separate pieces of glass, and the glass is starting to separate slightly where the crack began. I've reported my concerns twice to Hyundai customer service which has not resulted in any action. Searching the web I found at least one site with quite a number of people having problems with Hyundai windshields including the Santa Fe cracking very easily. Other than the windshield issue, I enjoy driving this vehicle. This was my 3rd consecutive new Hyundai purchase, but may be the last.
